Suécia, 570 Distr. Industrial Rio Claro SP Brazil Telephone: Fax: aldoro@aldoro.com.br Emergency number: COMPOSITION AND INFORMATION ON THE INGREDIENTS Product Type: Prepared Chemical Nature: Mixture of aluminium powder and petroleum hydrocarbon Ingredients that contribute to the hazard: Chemical Name CAS Number Concentration Band (%) Aluminium powder to 72 Aliphatic Hydrocarbon to 35 Aromatic Hydrocarbon to 7 3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Main hazards: Inflammability Toxicity of the vapors Product effects: Adverse effects to the health Inhalation: High vapor concentrations may cause irritation of the airways, headaches, vertigo, anesthetic effects as well as other effects on the central nervous system. Skin: Frequent and delayed contact may cause irritation and dermatitis.

MSDS nº 001 DATE: 09/09/2009 Revision: 03 Page: 2/8 Eyes: It is an irritating product, but do not cause lesions in the ocular tissue. Ingestion: It may provoke irritation of the airways and digestive system. Environmental effects Air: Product vapors in the air can become the environment explosive and toxic. Water: It may cause undesirable effects to the water effecting its use. Soil: Reduced effects on the soil. Specific Hazards: Inflammability Classification of the Chemical Product: Inflammable solid 4 FIRST AID MEASURES First Aid Measures: Inhalation: Remove the victim from the contaminated area, maintaining the person lied and warm. Maintain the airways free and if necessary provide artificial respiration. Skin Contact: Take contaminated clothes off. Wash with running water and soap. Eyes Contact: Do not rub. Wash with running water for 15 minutes (minimum). Look for an ophthalmologist. Ingestion: Do not provoke vomit. Provide medical care. Notes for the doctor: according to the information in this MSDS. 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Appropriate extinction means: Extinguishing agents class B (CO 2 or Dry Chemical Powder), class D (Special Chemical Powder), and inert material (thin and dry sand). Non appropriate extinction means: Extinguishing agents class A and water. Specific hazards: Aluminium particles will burn at high temperature and may become potentially explosive if they are dispersed in the air. It can liberate: carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and carbon monoxide gas (CO), irritating and toxicant gases. Specific methods: The fire in the aluminium paste starts by the solvent, in this phase it must be used extinguishing agents class B (CO 2 or Dry Chemical Powder).

MSDS nº 001 DATE: 09/09/2009 Revision: 03 Page: 3/8 If the fire continues, occurring total burning of the solvent, reaching the metal (aluminium), the fire must be considered as in pyrophoric metal. In this phase must be used extinguishing agents class D (Special Chemical Powder) or inert material (thin and dry sand). The fire must be carefully covered with these agents, with extreme care to avoid formation of powder clouds. The material must be inert until its temperature is equaled to the ambient temperature. Remove the burned material carefully from the place, in small portions, always maintaining the superficial part covered with sand. Firemen s protection: Use respiration protection equipment and special clothes for high temperatures. 6 SPILL/LEAKAGE CONTROL MEASURES Personal precautions: Wear equipment for personal protection. Maintain people in a safety place. Avoid direct contact with the product. Removal of ignition sources: Take the necessary measures against electrostatic energy accumulation. Remove or desactivate possible ignition sources. Dust control: Not applicable for being a viscous product. Prevention for inhalation and contact with the skin, mucous and eyes: Avoid inhalation of vapors and product contact with the skin, mucous and eyes. Use equipment for personal protection. Environmental precautions: Avoid that the product come into contact with the soil, rivers and lakes. If this happen, notify respective authorities. Cleaning methods: Recovery: Cover the product with inert and absorbent material (sand or sawdust) and remove it to metallic packing. Disposition: According to local legislation. Prevention for secondary hazards: Do not use water. 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling: Techniclal measures: Worker exposure prevention: Adopt the measures recommended in the Environmental Risks Prevention Program, implement biological monotoring according to the Occupational Health Medical Control Program established by the local legislation

MSDS nº 001 DATE: 09/09/2009 Revision: 03 Page: 4/8 Explosion and fire prevention: Eliminate heat and ignition sources. All electric equipment in use must be shielded and resistant to explosion. The facilities and equipment must be earthed in order to avoid static electricity. To avoid friction sparks, use shovels of non ferrous metal or wood for handling the product. Do not smoke or carry any material that cause sparks. Precautions for safety handling: Handling according to the appropriate operational procedures and safety norms. Orientations for safe handling: Obey strictly the established safety procedures and norms and: Avoid continued and repeated exposure or contact with product. Handle the product in fresh and airy place, using shovels of non ferrous metal or wood. Do not use plastic packing. Do not reuse the packing. Do no smoke or carry any material that causes sparks. The packing in use must be maintained closed after removing the product, in order to avoid solvent evaporation. Storage: Appropriate technical measures: Store the product in covered, dry and ventilated areas distant from heat, ignition sources and incompatible materials. Keep packing always closed. Storage conditions: Appropriate: Covered, dry and ventilated areas. To avoid: Confined places and heat sources. Safety Signs: Packing labels and place signs. Incompatible products and materials: Keep away from halogenated products, peroxides, alkalis and acids. Safety materials for packing: Recommended: Metallic buckets and drums. Inadequate: Plastic packing.

MSDS nº 001 DATE: 09/09/2009 Revision: 03 Page: 5/8 8 EXPOSURE CONTROL AND PERSONAL PROTECTION Engineering control measures: Implement environmental monitoring and adopt general or personal measures (Collective Protection Equipment or Personal Protection Equipment) to maintain the agents concentrations below the action levels. Parameters for specific control: Occupational exposure limits: Brazilian Legislation: Tolerance Limit NR 15 Annexed 11 Chemical Agent PPM mg/m 3 Cumene Toluene International Reference: Tolerance Limit ACGIH TWA Chemical Agent PPM mg/m 3 Cumene Toluene Trimetilbenzene Ethilbenzene Mineral spirit Recommended procedures for monitoring: Use resources approved by the brazilian legislation (NR-9 and NR-15) and international references (ACGIH, OSHA, NIOSH).
