4 Certified Standards for Aqueous Analysis When you re performing an analysis, you ve got to be absolutely certain that you ve got accurate results. You need absolute confidence that your standards, check samples, and reference materials, are accurate, so that you don t need to give your calibration a second thought. With VHG Labs A + Certified aqueous standards, you can relax. VHG Labs is the only manufacturer to employ the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) High Performance ICP-AES (HP ICP-AES) Protocol, this technique provides the most accurate certified values and uncertainties, directly traceable to the appropriate NIST Standard Reference Material (SRM). Our aqueous standards are formulated with high purity raw materials and reagents at all steps of the manufacturing process, including 18 MOhm ASTM Type 1 deionized water processed in our own specially-designed system. All VHG standards undergo 100% final QA testing, and are accompanied by a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (COA). VHG A + Certified Standards are directly traceable to NIST SRM s. Our metallo-organic calibration standards are the reference materials of choice for the analysis of metals in oils and other organic-based solvents using Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Atomic Absorption (AA), Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE or Rotrode ), Direct Current Plasma (DCP) and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). Our V12, V21, V21+K, and new V23 series standards are available in 10, 30, 50, 100, 300, 500, and 900 µg/g concentrations and volumes of 4, 8, or 16 oz. VHG Labs is the only manufacturer to offer both sulfonate-based standards (for a wide range of general applications) as well as special sulfur-free metalloorganic standards (for the quantification of sulfur and metals in a single calibration).
