1 Company Background Company History We at Cassol realized the need for a service orientated company to enter the solar market in Casper Fouche, the owner, has been in the solar industry for more than14 years. We are currently operating with 5 teams at hand to fulfill your solar needs. Our installed systems have generated over 3 mega watt per hour. We are BEE Level 4, focused on training and we are BEE Partners with Goodwill Electrical. What we do We pride ourselves in earning the reputation for providing Solar Efficient Solutions in the need and demand for electricity in the Eskom crisis phase. The Eskom crisis also means the price of electricity goes up every year. It is our responsibility to ensure the future of the planet and our generations to follow. The national energy provider cannot keep up with the growing demand of electricity and coal will be depleted with the rate of consumption currently. With nuclear energy, nobody wants the reactor on their doorstep. Solar energy is both natural and safe for you and the environment. We work in corporation with J. Malan who is a qualified Electrical Engineer for the designs of 100kw & bigger systems Charities supported by us: E.A.R.S (Ermelo Animal Rescue Services) CMR Welfare Organization Kinderhuise Skole Ouetehuise Rustenburg Retrenched Miners Organisation

2 Why Solar Energy? The question, Why Solar Energy? almost becomes redundant when you look at the facts. Name two raw materials which are inexhaustible; sun and sand. These are the two main components used to generate solar energy. With this in mind it comes as no surprise that electricity which is produced on rooftops will soon be cheaper than conventional electricity which we draw from a socket in the wall. Indeed, solar energy is the key to future economic growth and when we think of the impact which it can, and will have, it becomes evident that the development of solar power can be compared to other modern marvels of the past such as the steam engine, the car and the computer. This is why you should choose solar power: The main power source, the sun, will continue to shine for another 4 billion years and continue to supply free energy as it does so. The amount of solar energy which reaches the earth exceeds our daily requirements by to times! Generating solar energy does not produce CO2, making it environmentally friendly. A solar power system grants you independence, allows you to become self sufficient and delivers you from rising energy costs. Solar power is the only energy source which can be produced locally, worldwide. Energy waste is minimalised and costs are reduced seeing as long transportation distances are no longer required. You cannot monopolise the sun. It is independent of corporations and undemocratic regimes. Solar power is harmless; clean, green, renewable energy.

3 Strategy & Vision Vision statement Cassol Solar Specialists sees South Africa as a truly great country with the potential to be completely selfsustainable in all aspects. We believe that renewable energy will play a key part in the growth and ongoing development of this country, and we look forward to also playing a vital role within the industry. Mission statement Our aim is to create a cleaner, more sustainable future by providing the best possible information in the most interactive way, as well as top quality products and services with friendliness and efficiency. Cassol Solar Specialists strives to be the best we can be and to provide our clients with anything and everything they need or desire. We are proud to be a part of making South Africa a better place both now, and in the future. Business goals & objectives It is the intention of this company to promote sustainability in our community through the design and installation of renewable energy systems. As our civilisation transitions from reliance on the national grid to more sustainable energy resources, solar energy will play a key role in creating safe, reliable energy independence. Our desire is to help you to create a better future, for yourself and for future generations, by choosing to go solar.

5 Services At Cassol Solar Specialists we offer world class energy solutions for Solar Lighting Solar Residential Power Systems Solar Farming Solar Power Backup Sytems Solar Business Office Applications Wind Turbines Low & Medium Voltage Gas Installations Geysers & Stoves and COC Certificates of compliance for gas & electrical. We have completed numerous rooftop Solar installations to date. Residential systems can be divided into off-grid and on-grid systems. Off-grid: Households generally consumes the most energy during the early evenings and mornings the time of day when the sun does not produce optimal energy. Storage of energy through the use of batteries then becomes necessary. These systems provides the consumer the customer with the security of supply but do not necessarily result in a very cost-effective solution. In this instance comfort enjoys priority. On-grid: Households could opt for an on-grid system where the power is generated during the daytime and fed directly into the household's use to offset energy drawn from the grid. Should the household be unable to use all the power generated at a given time, called over-generation, the power would need to be fed into the grid, an aspect that is not yet fully operational on the South African grid. Commerce is about making money. Your office or shopping mall could generate its own power at less than the costs of the grid. Fix your risk through security of supply and a reduction of costs. Already in the current market a commercial system seldom fails to make financial sense. The rooftops of commercial buildings such as shopping malls and office blocks receive enormous amounts of solar energy which, if not used, unfortunately goes to waste. Commercial buildings generally use more power than that which could be generated by covering its roof with PV Solar panels. Almost 90% of all buildings could save electricity costs by installing photovoltaic solar panels on their rooftops. Industry is reliant on electrical supply. Whilst industry consumes large amounts of power the generation through PV during daytime could be offset against the total consumption to reduce costs. Industrial sites have vast unused roof space and are at the same time large consumers of electricity. Installing a Solar PV system would offset the cost of power purchased from the grid. :
