DESCRIPTION: Gypsum based ready-mix plaster for base and finish coat. SUPPLIER / MANUFACTURER: Healcons Pvt. Ltd., Gat No. 516/17/29, At Post Vitner, Tal & District Jalgaon , Maharashtra, India. Telephone: Emergency Telephone: (2) COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS COMPONENTS PRESENTING HAZARDS: None. CONSTITUENTS: The principal constituentents of this product are calcium sulphate hemi hydrates, cement and chemical additives. Additives may include hydrated lime, small amounts of polymer water retention agents, binders, dispersants and setting time modifiers. (3) HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION MOST IMPORTANT HAZARDS: ADVERSE HUMAN HEALTH EFFECTS: Does not present any particular risk, provided it is handled in accordance with good occupational hygiene and safety practice and that precautions are taken to avoid the inhalation of dust. Sanding of Gypsum plasters may generate excessive dust. Suitable respiratory protection must be worn when any dust is produced. Plaster powders/dust may irritate eyes or sensitive skin, dust may irritate respiratory system. ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS: Presents no particular risk to the environment, provided the disposal requirements and national or local regulations are complied with. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS: - Fire or explosion: No risk of fire. CLASSIFICATION/SPECIFIC HAZARDS: According to EEC criteria, this product is not classified as a Hazardous substance. (4) FIRST-AID MEASURES INHALATION: Move to the fresh air or a well ventilated area. If nose or airways become inflamed, seek medical attention.

2 SKIN CONTACT: Immediately rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of running water, and then wash with water and soap. Clothing contaminated with wet product should be removed and washed thoroughly before re-use. EYE CONTACT: Immediately rinse with plenty of clean water for a prolonged period whilst keeping the eyes wide open. INGESTION: Wash mouth out and drink plenty of water. If swallowing has occurred do not induce vomiting. NEVER give an unconscious person anything to drink. Please note: Should any symptoms persist obtain medical assistance. (5) FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES This product is non combustible. EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Suitable: Preferably use water spray, Foam, Powders, Carbon dioxide (CO2). Not suitable: None. If there is a fire close by, use suitable extinguishing agents. (6) ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES PERSONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe dust. Wash the part of the body in contact with clear water. Protective Equipment: Respiratory protection device. Appropriate gloves. Safety glasses. RECOVERY: Sweep up or vacuum up the product. The formation of dust should be controlled and suppressed, collect released dust and put into bags. Collect the product and dispose to a place authorised to accept construction waste. CLEANING/DECONTAMINATION: Wash non-recoverable remainder with large amounts of water. ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: This product does not present any particular risk for the environment. Do not throw away in the sewerage system. Prevent these products from contaminating drains and watercourses as a powder or a slurry. (7) HANDLING AND STORAGE PACKAGING: Product is supplied in 25 kg biaxial oriented polypropylene (BOPP) bags lined with a plastic film. HANDLING: When handling product bags, due regard should be paid to the correct ergonomic handling. Some bags may have a small amount of dust on the outer surface. Appropriate personal protection should be used whilst handling. Measures: Avoid the formation or spread of dust in the atmosphere. STORAGE: Technical Measures: Does not require any specific or particular technical measures. Storage conditions recommended: Bags should be stacked in a safe and stable manner. To guarantee the quality and properties of the product, keep the bags tightly closed in a clean dry environment, off the ground, protect from humidity and bad weather conditions.

3 (8) EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Technical Protective Measures: No special measures required. GENERAL HYGIENE: Avoid contact with skin and eyes and the inhalation of dust. Wash hand before breaks and at end of work. Do not eat or drink when using the product. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: The area of work requires appropriate ventilation and dust formation should be minimised and controlled. Recommended to wear half face mask or suitable respiratory protection when spraying or sanding. HAND PROTECTION: Impermeable PVC gloves are recommended in prolonged or repeated wet contact. EYE PROTECTION: If the formation of plaster dust or splashes is likely to occur, safety glasses/goggles are recommended. Recommended to wear during sanding or spraying. Contact lenses should not be worn when working with the products. SKIN PROTECTION: To avoid skin contact wear protective overalls and footwear. (9) PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES APPEARANCE: Physical state: Solid Form: Powder Particle size: 300 mesh Colour: 85% white Odor: No odor ph: 10 when missed with water SPECIFIC TEMPERATURES: Decomposition temperature: Not applicable. FLAMMABILITY CHARACTERISTICS: Flash point: Not applicable. Oxidising properties: Non oxidising material according to EEC criteria. SOLUBILITY: in water: Dispersible. in organic solvents: Insoluble or practically insoluble in common organic solvents. (10) STABILITY AND REACTIVITY STABILITY: Stable at ambient room temperature and under normal conditions of use. Conditions to avoid: Unintentional contact with water. HAZARDOUS REACTIONS: Not any hazardous reaction. Adding water will increase the mix temperature to 30 0 C. Solution Hazardous polymerisation: Will not occur. (11) TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION The main component of this product is gypsum. Gypsum has been used in a wide variety of applications over a long period of time. In the dehydrate and hemi hydrate form, it finds widespread use in medicine as plaster of paris. There is no evidence of any long term effects associated with the dehydrate. No known toxicological effects.

4 ACUTE TOXICITY: Non toxic. However, long term experience of this product type indicates no danger to health when properly handled under industrial conditions. INHALATION: Plaster dust can cause short term irritation to the ocular mucous membranes, no known long term effects. SKIN CONTACT: Cement powder or cement-water mixtures can cause irritant contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis and/or burns. Powder or wet mix may cause dry skin leading to irritation if contact is prolonged or if the skin is sensitive. EYE CONTACT: Cement is a severe eye irritant. Mild exposure can cause soreness. Gross exposure or untreated mild exposures can lead to chemical burning or ulceration of the eye. Irritation can be experienced due to powder or wet mix splashes, the eyes must be washed out immediately, to reduce the discomfort and possibility of long term damage. INGESTION: Swallowing small quantities of powder or wet mix will not cause any significant reaction or long term damage. Larger amounts may result in irritation to the gastro-intestinal tract. The presence of sulphate at high concentrations is known to have a laxative effect. These effects are temporary. (12) ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Stable product with no known risk for environment, if it is used and disposed of as recommended. General Information: Do not throw away in the sewage system. MOBILITY: Sparingly soluble in water, forms a paste and solidifies. ECOTOXICITY: Effects on the aquatic environment: Not toxic. (13) DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS PRODUCT: Collect waste & droppings. Allow the product to dry, and then put the solid residues at available containers on building sites. Dispose at an approved landfill site according to local regulations. EMPTY BAGS & CARTONS: Empty the packaging completely prior to disposal. Dispose according to the local regulations. Note: The user s attention is drawn to the possible existence of local regulations regarding disposal. (14) TRANSPORT INFORMATION This product is not classified as hazardous for transport.
