My most sincere thanks for the trust you ve continued to put in our company over these 47 years we ve been together, always striving to offer technologically innovative products, of the highest performance but with also a focus on savings, both in terms of energy and money. JOLLY MEC closely follows the latest developments in a world that s continuously changing, and today the company is ready to face new challenges with new communication and marketing tools, a new generation of staff assisted by expert managers, with goals that are as stimulating as they are ambitious. It s a great pleasure to contribute to the first issue of this Magazine published for Progetto Fuoco It was at the 2014 trade fair that I actually realised what working for JOLLY MEC means to me: the passion and energy that was in the air at the stand helped me understand the responsibility and the importance of the challenge I was facing. From there we all started out on a virtuous road of renewal throughout the entire company: the idea behind this effort was to maintain the historical roots of the successful family business, while at the same time embracing a new vision and ideas for the future to make the company more competitive. So now, at the start of 2016, we re ready with new commercial aids, new catalogues and a multilingual web site, as well as many new ideas just waiting to be put into practice. New products? Certainly! This year we ll be presenting the FOGHET EVO ARIA, the combined Wood/ Pellet heating fireplace which represents a point of excellence in its category, besides the fact that it s 100% Made in Italy. It s truly a unique product, for someone who wants the very top of the range! We ve invested in Research & Development, in Technology & Design and other company operations to launch products of the very highest standard on the market at a really competitive price. AMBRIA and RIVA, the latest pellet stoves with an output of 6 and 9 Kw are a fine example. And this is just the beginning! The company slogan goes, Where there s warmth, there s JOLLY MEC!... This slogan marks a fundamental step for the new JOLLY MEC: we put people, with their feelings, at the very heart of our communications strategy aimed at different targets; living lovely family moments, immersed in human warmth and the warmth of the environment, this is our philosophy. What about Progetto Fuoco 2016? New products, enthusiasm and competence all characterise our company and have helped create a very special stand to present our new wood burning stoves QL e TL (pages 18 and 19) as well as a novel Smartphone App. Our sales and technical staff will be on hand to welcome visitors and show them the JOLLY MEC world. What does JOLLY MEC expect from 2016? At a business level, 2016 will be a very import year for us to consolidate our position on two major European markets, in other words in Italy and France, while continuing to develop current projects in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Great Britain. Opportunities from the global market must be evaluated with the greatest care to make the most of them as quickly and flexibly as possible: Progetto Fuoco 2016 is where it all begins. At the same time we ll continue to follow the growth and development of our Service Centre network in various markets: excellent pre and post sales service has always been one of the secrets of our success. 4

Can you tell us about the approach to work at JOLLY MEC in just a few words? The wish and need to occupy a leading position on a highly competitive market can become a concrete reality by adopting procedures and management systems based on effective methods, with particular attention to even the most meticulous detail, acknowledged and certified by international standards. For the second year, JOLLY MEC consolidated its corporate certification in accordance with EN ISO and MCS Standards, the latter essential in order to offer our heating systems on the British market. Our Quality Management System certifies the continuous development of the product with important breakthroughs in technical content, performance, design and last but not least, safety. What is the company s distinctive feature? One fundamental characteristic of the company is the in-depth and constant Training of our human resources employed in both internal and external company processes, with the constant capillary monitoring of all our products for users wherever they may be, thanks to a timely and well-organized After-Sales Service. Our design engineering team, in close collaboration with all company divisions, receiving feedback from the same, shares its know-how in mechanical construction and assembly, fluid and thermodynamics, in combustion processes and biomasses. This results in an innovative product that can meet even the most demanding market requirements, today more than ever. Field research? Yes! Our Purchasing Department does non-stop daily research into innovative mechanical, electrical and electronic solutions, studying raw materials, primary and secondary components, wherever they may be in the world. This creates an enormous number of possibilities, and thanks to our Research & Development Department dedicated to experimentation, verification and validation of the same, these possibilities become product innovations, which in turn gives our Sales Division the tools they need to reach Top Management goals. 6 COMPANY IMAGE 2016 A new image for JOLLY MEC After assessing the market and competitors, the JOLLY MEC management decided it s time to change how our company s image is perceived by the market. Without prejudice to the historical context of the company and the high technological content of our products, today we wish to focus on the target groups of the market and the latest functions of the products. Today, stoves and fireplaces, with instrumental functions heating the home, are considered elements of design and furnishing. Some of the best, fondest and most memorable moments in the home or office are often near the fireplace or stove. The JOLLY MEC campaign, through the photos and minispot of photographer Gianni Canali, interprets these moments in games for kids going back to school, a group of friends playing cards on a winter s evening, or the return home after a good day s skiing on the mountains. THE FUTURE IS ONLINE We re updated! The new JOLLY MEC web site, with the latest graphics and content and tools designed to provide the best information, can give customers all the information they need. It s now easier to find tailor-made products, more technical information on each single product, everything you want to know about the company and recent developments. The Web has become the most popular way for people to search for products and feedback, and represents the primary portal providing access to a company. JOLLY MEC has decided to accept this challenge and use all possible online channels to stay in touch with its regular and future customers: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Google plus and other social networks will be used in the proper way to set up a link with the world open 24/7, ready to provide technical answers and know-how. AUTOMATIC START IN WOOD MODE A specific function can be used to start the fireplace in wood mode using the pellet burner. AIR DUCTING It is able to duct air to all the other rooms, diffusing the heat evenly.

Being able to choose which fuel to use is undoubtedly a great advantage both for the comfort and for the saving. Now with FOGHET EVO we can continue to heat the house and enjoy the natural heat even during power or electrical failure, thanks to the innovative heat exchanger which absorbs the combustion using the natural chimney draft as conductor. This benefit is not possible in combination products that work only with forced draft because in case of power breakdown or failure, the smoke fan stops. >> HEAT RECOVERY AIRSCREW SYSTEM FOGHET uses the innovative heat Airscrew System jolly mec patent which, thanks to its helical spiral shape, retains much of the heath of the combustion residues and emissions by improving the yields. The advanced electronic control unit, allows to take full advantage of the characteristics of heat efficiency of the exchanger but also of comfort; for example, we can choose whether to heat the house with natural heat by irradiation or by means of a fan forced heat, whether to ignite the wood with pellets or have the fuel always change automatically other than many other temperature regulation functions. Even the shutters and air settings are automated, no lever nor knob, just touch the keys of the new touch screen display to activate all functions. Behind the clean lines of the FOGHET EVO there is the care for materials and details. In the design phase we studied an elegant line and, at the same time, a characterizing one to ensure that the machine is suitable for every type of environment. One of the characteristics is the double glass door which guarantees irradiation safety and comfort and, at the same time, elegance and precision in details. With satisfaction we can say that FOGHET EVO respects the environment thanks to its high yields, wood (88%) and pellet (90%) and low emissions below the allowed limits. FOGHET EVO is approved and certified for running both with pellet and with wood. 9

BUILT-IN HUMIDIFIER (for PLUS VERSION) The built-in humidifier improves the quality of the air and ensure a more healthy environment. Simply add a few drops of scent to diffuse your favourite fragrance throughout your home. FIREFLECTOR COMBUSTION CHAMBER The combustion chamber in fireflector, a high flame and heat resistant material, improves combustion and reduces pollution. AIR DUCTING ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT AIR DUCTING There are two openings in the top section of the fireplace for the ducting of air if desired. Depending on the type of installation, it is possible to close the front hot air output and duct all the hot air elsewhere. ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT The electronic control unit adjusts the fan speed, according to the fireplace temperature and can be managed in manual or auto mode to achieve maximum comfort. If the temperature overheats, the electronic control unit will automatically discharge the excess heat. A remote control device is also available (optional). 13
