Group M.A.M. in a nutshell Family-owned company based in Belgium 20+ year experience with industrial coatings, with focus on sputtering. Recent investment in new full-fledged sputter roll coater, allowing to coat a wide range of metals, oxides and nitrides on flexible substrates. We develop, manufacture and sell high-end film products that help to save energy, reduce carbon footprint and improve photovoltaics performance

Mother nature is our best customer Worldwide, buildings consume 42% of all electricity more than any other asset. By 2025, buildings will be the largest emitters of greenhouse gases on our planet. There is a growing need for implementation of smart building solutions. Our glazing-related solutions improve comfort and reduce the CO 2 - emission of homes & buildings, and increase the efficiency of photovoltaic solar panels.

Our solutions Innovations helping you to save energy, reduce carbon footprint and improve photovoltaics performance Retrofit window films Structural glazing films PV panel films

Retrofit window films Umiscreen, part of Group MAM, is the first 100% European window film producer. We improve the comfort and carbon footprint of buildings all over the world, thanks to the development, manufacturing and sales of superior window films. Windows films are very thin, transparent multi-layer polyester films that are installed on existing glazing buildings facing issues of heat, glare and/or UV (solar protection)

Retrofit window films Thanks to our PLEOLIT patented technology, we offer an outperforming range of window films that are adapted to current customer needs: Improved spectral-selectivity, with >50% solar energy refection and 75% light transmission Limited absorption of 15% Outside installation with 15-year warranty and no edge sealing All-season, thanks to our low e-coating with emissivity of 0,04 Affordable, by using less expensive precious metals with higher performances.

Retrofit window films: product range SOLAR SP 75 : these solar protection window films for inside installation open a new dimension in spectral selectivity, combining superior light transmission with unseen solar rejection efficiencies (> 50%) and low absorption rates (< 15%). SOLAR OS 75 : solar window films for outside installation with superior durability and 15-year warranty. SOLAR LE 75 : these all-season films also realize energy-savings during winter, thanks to their outperforming emissivity results of 0,04. Visible Light Transmission: 75% Applications: offices, private homes, banks, museums, hotels, public buildings, classified buildings, hospitals, army, marine

Strucural glazing films: low-e upgrade Low-e upgrade for vertical float glass Machine lamination with protection liner for transportation U-value 5,8 -> 3,28 (44% less heat loss) Visible Light Transmission: >75% Applications : E-busses, trams and trains, cooling systems and cooling trucks, marine and ships, winter gardens.

Structural glazing films: solar + low-e upgrade Laminated double float glass panes Manual installation or machine lamination, with protection liner for transportation Position 1 : solar special coating (Total Solar energy Rejected: > 55%) Position 4 : low-e special coating (u-value 5,8 -> 3,28) Applications: frameless all-glass systems, security and structural glazing systems

PV panel films: background Photovoltaics are exposed to environmental stress factors such as UV radiation. The polymeric materials that are used to encapsulate the solar cells degrade under the influence of UV radiation. UV also gradually damage the photovoltaic junctions reducing the PV lifetime. Light reflection from the PV top layer is an important source of energy loss. Contamination and erosion from dust and sand have a direct impact on solar panel performance, and an indirect impact on maintenance cost. Our PV Panel film range consists of several specifically developed products that improve performance of existing and new photovoltaic panels, in each of these areas.

PV panel films The films are applied on the outer surface of existing and new panels. 3 products & applications: UV-protection: reduction to UV-exposure to less than 1% (or even < 0,5%) Anti-reflection: reduction of reflection, resulting in a 3% efficiency gain Anti-soiling: multilayered film (up to 10 layers) protecting the PV panel surface against soiling and avoiding the need of water for cleaning operation. Each time the film is eroded or soiled, the top layer is torn away
