5 5.0 Details of measurement of quarry pit earlier in the area to be sanctioned and details of mineral concessions situation within 100 m of this area. There is no existing quarry lease in surrounding area. 6.0 Scheme for tree plantation. The quarry leases is sanctioned for the period of 10 years lease will planted approx 800 sapling in 0.72 hectare area. During the lease period we will plant 80/year plant in the barrier zone in consultation with forest Department and revenue departs. 7.0 Detail and approximate distance of National park, sanctuary, Bio diversity area, interested within periphery of 10km from the area to be sanctioned. There is no National park, Sanctuary, Bio diversity area, Interstate boundary situated within periphery of 10 km from the sanctioned area. 8.0 Proposed annual production of mineral Production Cu.m per year Mineral Basalt 9.0 Effect on ground water level due to mining operation and its prevention measures. The mining of Basalt Stone during the lease period will be worked out from the top surface above the ground water table. Thus no ground water pollution is expected as mining will not intersect the ground water Details of scheme of continuous reclamation and rehabilitation of the land degradation due to mining. RECLAMATION AND REHABILIATION At the end of lease period following land will be mined out as per present knowledge and reclamation and rehabilitation will be done as under. Following mitigative measures shall be doped for air pollution control due to mining of Stone. Fortnightly scraping/bulldozing of road to prevent accumulation of lose dust on road to shift it to side and to keep roads almost leveled to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and also prevent spillage thereby minimizing fugitive dust emissions from the roads towards the village. 6. Prior awareness to explain the Eco-friendly main plan. 7. Proper tuning of vehicles to keep the CO gas emission and noise under check. 8. Plantation of tree at the places if allowed by the authorities, to help reduce the impact of dust Provision for separate stacking of surface soil excavated from mining operation and its utility. Moderate layer of top soil is present in this area, top soil will be dump in a particular place and this top soil will be used in plantation. 6

7 13.0 Details if social and economic up gradation of mining effect area due to proposed project. The implementation of stone mining project will generate direct and indirect employment. However noise generated by these will occurring at low level and will be within the prescribed upper limit. Flora & Fauna: Regionally the area falls under subtropical climatic zone and sustaining dry tropical land the common tree are Seja (Terminalis tomentosa) Achar (Anogcissus latifolia) lundiya (Lagers toemis purvilora) Amaltas (Cassisfistnla) and Mahnwa. A part from this many varieties of grass creepers and climbers are found the applied area is gentle rolling topography of agriculture land and no flora presently available. No wild life is reported in the area Whether the area fall under the notified area under water act 1974 No, Ujjain District does not fall Notified area under water Act Public Building places Monuments: There is no any public building, place or monumental construction seen in the vicinity of the area great importance. 8

9 Due to mining operation there will be change in the environment what so ever may be the small nature of mining activities. The prospered mining activity of manual in nature and quarry leasehold area is not larger and also the area is devoid of good flora and fauna. The socio-economic status of the surrounding villages is rural with dominant agriculture economy. The surrounding area is thin populated there will no environment the possible on environments are be as follows Extent of area to be planted/afforestation About 9% area will be afforestated at the end of lease period. Green Belt A green Barrier is proposed at the proposed Barrier zone of the quarry. As show in maps Environment Management Cell The proposed mining operation will be of very small and it is not possible to set up an environment cell however the monitoring will be carried out with the existing employee and quarry lease owner himself.
