13 spotlight: climate leadership Climate change is caused by greenhouse gases (primarily carbon) being released into our atmosphere.
14 spotlight: climate leadership Carbon is a building block of life. If you weigh 150 pounds, 27 pounds of you is pure carbon. Plants are almost half carbon.
