AM Instruments presents the new AIHP technology line of products Activated Ionized Hydrogen Peroxide for the biodecontamination of environments, surfaces and defined areas. This technology is based on operator safety, safeguard of surfaces, efficacy, repeatability and rapidity of the biodecontamination cycle and has been patented by TOMI Environmental Solutions. AIHP technology uses a 7,8% H 2 O 2 concentration, definitely lower than the average concentrations, considerably reducing health related risks and materials incompatibility, still maintaining a high efficacy rate. 2

3 STERAMIST ENVIRONMENT SYSTEM SteraMist Environment System is a portable device for environmental biodecontamination that can ensure sterilization in areas up to 1500 m 3. Steramist is a patented two-step-process, which activates a hydrogen peroxide solution lower than 7,8%, that creates a thin mist containing a high concentration of reacting oxygen species (ROS). The unique physical chemistry of AIHP allows the ROS to persist in the environment without recombining and losing their reactivity. ROS, including hydroxyl ions, together with other radicals, break the double boundaries of microorganisms (spores included) in the room, completely sterilizing the environment and all the surfaces. Binary Ionization Technology (BIT ) is a patented EPA solution, which is recommended also for the pharmaceutical industry (EPA Registration # ). 3

4 STERAMIST ENVIRONMENT SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS AND BENEFITS no conditioning requested for the area of interest no restrictions based on temperature or humidity in the areas of interest; the product guarantees an excellent compatibility with all cleanroom materials, even the electronics gassing time faster than any other technology thanks to the ionization, the droplets repulse each other, acting like a gas (100 m 3 saturation time = 20 minutes) reduced contact time, thanks to reacting oxygen species (ROS) ionization creates radicals that improve the action of the peroxide and quickly act against contamination (100 m 3 = 30 minutes contact time) aeration time: 100 m 3 in 45 minutes (value estimated for rooms with approximately 20 air changes per hour). Fast recovery thanks to both the low concentration level and the ionization process the low concentration in the environment allows reaching the limit of PEL: 1 ppm in a shorter time compared to the standard technologies; ionized fog also amplifies the volatility of H facilitating expulsion at the end of cycle 4

5 STERAMIST SURFACE UNIT SteraMist Surface Unit is a completely portable and fast-acting device: the process is safe and simple and guarantees the sterilization of all surfaces: glass, PVC, laminates, sensitive electronics and metal, stainless steel, aluminium and bronze included. It requires a few minutes of aeration after use. 6 STERAMIST PERMANENT SET-UPS PASS BOXES AND ISOLATORS The incredible activation speed of AIHP applied to our modern pass box, MyBox with automatic loading and unloading, allows increasing daily cycles with the maximum microbiological efficacy on any cleanroom entering material (i.e. 15 m 3 = 75 minutes complete cycle). PERMANENT SET-UPS AIHP systems are also installed inside cleanrooms in permanent set-ups: they can interconnect with any management system, HVAC system and door interlock to make the cycle completely automated, saving time when preparing routine cycles. Permanent AIHP systems have all the advantages of the movable solution together with remote controlled start and use, alarm management with the possibility of alerts and constant control of the spread agent and the concentration reached. 6
