9 KEY RESULTS OF THE PILOT PROGRAMME General rationalization of the widespread expectations of (expected) positive changes in groundwater and drinking loads of water after the implementation of decrees Permanent work with stakeholders vertical and horizontal levels of the Slovenian society Cross-border cooperation and exchange of experience key to management of the situation in a wider geographic area 17 KEY RESULTS OF THE PILOT PROGRAMME Careful and systematic planning of monitoring programs does not mean the impoverishment of programmes evidence of ability of pragmatic way of thinking Integration of modeling modern approach to streamline the monitoring programs management of trends and unforeseen situations 18 9
