Air Pollution Can Harm Plants and Animals What are the main causes of air pollution? Most causes are from cars and factories and natural causes like volcanos and forest fires. What is smog? Smog is waste gases and smoke from cars and factories may join with water in the air to form smog. Air pollution can be anywhere. What is currently being done to prevent air pollution in other towns? Governments throughout the world have already taken action against air pollution by introducing green energy. How does air pollution from one country affect another country? Air pollution can travel by air to get to another country and cause harmful gasses. Action Plan Our plan is to make car manufacturing companies to build more energy efficient cars and trash town s factories and heavy traffic have polluted the air. We would protest until they would consider us right would be step one. Step two would be to get factories to use solar and wind energy and to limit how much they pollute by putting together a union job and possibly earn the workers a little more money..

6 Recycling Keeps Our Planet Happy & Health when you recycle to help living things. What does it mean to recycle? Recycling means to reuse things instead of throwing things away. Does nature recycle? Yes, because you can recycle things you find outside in your yard or your friends yard and you could recycle them. Interesting fact A running faucet waste 2.5 gallons of water each minute. If you want grown-ups to recycle just tell their kids the importance of recycling and they ll be all over it. What is composting? Bill Nye Composting is when a worm is digging through the soil to help plants grow. Each piece of trash you recycle is another animal you save. Action Plan First we get permission to put up flyers up. Next put flyers around town. Then we have bank sale and car wash. Next we ask people to help us give out recycling bins. Then we will build a big recycle bin in the town and hire people to collect the recycling bins one part of the town at a time.one person on Monday and one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday. We would finally get the town a whole lot nicer.

Cause 1 the first cause is that water pollution kills the animals that depend on the water bodies. Cause 2 animals including water animals can die, when water is poisoned for various reasons. 8 Water Pollution Can Harm Plants and Animals How does water pollution affect plants and animals? Water pollution affects plants and animals because it kills them. Animals get killed because they can t handle the trash that s in the water. Plants get killed because they don t get any carbon dioxide. How does water soil contamination or land pollution affect the water supply? Ecosystem {the interaction of living things in a place depending on each other for life} can be severally changed or destroyed by water pollution. Water pollutions occur when pollutants {particles, chemicals on substances that make water contaminated} are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies without enough treatment to get rid of harmful compounds. Pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to disperse because we ve been ignorant of their value. Oil spill Action Plan Step 1 Our team will talk to the town Mayor and see if we can have a town meeting. Step 2 We contact the Mayor and see if we can tell the town our plan at the town meeting. Steps 3 We can put up posters to tell people that we are having a town meeting. Step 4 After the town meeting the people that came to the town meeting and our group will go to lakes, streams, and the Mississippi river to collect the trash out of the lakes, streams, and the Mississippi river. Step 5 Our group is going to recycle the trash and throw some away. Step 6 We do it every 1 Saturday of the month.

Recycling is the thing to do. Action Plan We can introduce ways to make things recyclable to factories and companies. Step 1: Think of ways to make things that are not recyclable into recyclable things. Grasses, leaves, paper, and some other types of food can naturally decay and turn into compost, and that compost can then be put to good use in your garden. Step 2: Contact the mayor to explain our plan and meet with the mayor and bosses of factories and companies. Step 3: Have garage sales and bake sales to make money for the plan. Step 4: Make flyers and get permission to hang them around town. Step 5: We will ask people to help us by writing an article in the newspaper. Step 6: After we ask the people we will give them recycling bins. Step 7: We can organize part of the land in Perryville to have the people drop the recycling bins off and we empty them then give them back. Step 8: The trash town (Perryville) is now a clean town.

Some of the causes are smoke from people factories that use smoke and the smell of gasoline hurts the air and it is unhealthy and it comes from cars What is smog? Smog is a form of gas. Smog is an example of this, and is a secondary pollutant. When dangerous chemicals mix up with air and it forms a chemical reaction and forms photochemical smog. Interesting Fact Emissions from Industries and Manufacturing activities are things that pollute the air are smog, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides are examples of air pollution. Air pollution can be everywhere when people use products that have ingredients that are dangerous to the air. What is currently being done to prevent air pollution in other towns? In other towns there walking instead of using transportation that can pollute the air they don t make air pollution with their vehicles.
