Comments stage Modification of the tariff model for MSW public service: Tariff is defined including a maximum cost estimated according to the characteristics of the sweeping and street cleaning, collection, transport and final disposal for each municipality. 3

10 Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) - I Integrated Solid Waste NAMA Components Phase I: Scoping studies for priorization of mitigation actions Components Phase II: Analysis of technological options for diversion of waste from landfilling (MBT, RDF, composting) Policy and incentives (inclusion of price of recycling activities in tariffs, policy that permits use of new technologies, extended producer responsibility is important but not yet included in the process). Informal sector inclusion within the waste management activities. 10
