33 Conclusions Public Supply demands in the region will increase by approximately 41 mgd Total demands will increase by approximately 97 mgd Water conservation and use of reclaimed water are essential elements of meeting future demands Upper Floridan groundwater is anticipated to be adequate to meet future demand throughout the SWFWMD portion of the region when conservation and use of reclaimed water is included In the SJRWMD portion of the region, MFLs for Silver Springs / Silver River may limit additional upper Floridan aquifer quantities Alternative supplies include surface water, lower Floridan aquifer and seawater desalination
