1 Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell Monthly Report on Natural gas production, availability and consumption - May, Highlights of the report for the month of May, 2017 are as follows: Gross production for the month of May 2017 was which increased by 4.16% over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total import of LNG for the month of May 2017 was which decreased by 9.58 % over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total consumption for the month of May 2017 was which decreased by approximately 1.20 % over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total consumption by fertilizer, power, petrochemicals, sponge iron, refinery and other sectors for the month of May 2017 was D. 2. Natural Gas production: Pvt./ JVs ONGC Natural Gas Production in May % * 10.52% 2.41% 9.52% May 2016 May 2017(P) * Production under Pvt./JV fields in May, 2017 decreased as there was production fall in Krishna Godavari D6 block (KGD6), and Ravva fields. However there was also increase in production in KG-OSN-2001/3, RJ-ON-90/1 and Ranjganj South fields. Page -1

Natural Gas net availability: Natural Gas producing companies use some quantity of gas for their own use as internal consumption while some quantity of gas is flared as a part of technical requirement. LNG imports: LNG was procured during the month by Petronet LNG Ltd., GAIL (India) Ltd., Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., and Torrent Power Ltd.
