8 Equations Used in Calculations An emission factor (EF) in µg m -2 h-1 for a chamber test is calculated using Equation 1: EF = (Q (C - Co)) / A C (1) where C is the VOC chamber concentration (µg m -3 ) and Co is the substrate or chamber blank VOC concentration (µg m -3 ). The remaining parameters are defined in Table 1. A building concentration (C B ) in µg m -3 is calculated using Equation 2 and parameters defined in Table 2.
