This Addendum is a part of the Bid Document and acknowledgment of its receipt shall be noted on the Addendum. Contained within this addendum: Time Extension, Revised Bid Sheet, questions and answers received. The Bid Receiving Date has been extended one (1) week. The revised Bid Receiving Date is Wednesday, April 25, 2018, prior to 2:00 p.m. Revised Bid Sheet is attached. 2 BID # UTILITIES POTABLE WATER & RECLAIMED WATER MAINTENANCE CONNECTION & REPLACEMENT OF METERS ADDENDUM #1 Question 1: Can the utility provide us with estimated quantity of each line item to be performed? Answer: Please see Revised Bid Sheet attached. Question 2: Will there be enough work to keep a crew on site full time to accommodate the 24 hour response time? Answer: The services contained within this bid are utilized on an as-needed basis. PCU does not guarantee any quantities. Question 3: My company hasn't had but about a year experience dealing with municipalities but I personally have about 16 yrs. experience in underground utilities, also my class 3 distribution license is under my name not my business name, is that acceptable? Answer: The business owned by the contractor must have the minimum years of experience described in the qualifications #2 and additionally, the projects must be for the business submitting for the bid. Question 4: Can you provide a budget or cost estimate for this bid? Answer: This is an annual bid therefore, there is no established budget. The services contained within this bid are utilized on an as-needed basis. Last year s average cost was approximately $771,725. Question 5: Is there a set start date in mind for work to begin? Answer: Work should begin within 30 days after the award of the bid.

Prices bid are for the prescribed time as defined in the Measurement and Payment section. Any additional time needed to perform the service over the prescribed time may be charged in ¼ hour increments in accordance with the Measurement and Payment, #12; unless otherwise specified.
