1 ATTACHMENT E: MONITORING-KIRIKEE LOWER E.1 Waste Water Discharge Frequency and Quantities Existing & Proposed SEE TABLE E.1(i) There are no pumping stations nor are there storm water overflows on the collection system. E.2 Monitoring and Sampling Points Sampling and monitoring was carried out as part of this application process. The samples were grab samples taken on 27/07/09 and 20/08/09 and were sampled and analysed by Emerald Environmental Ltd. There is a documented test procedure for each analytical method used in the laboratory based on APHA/AWWA 'Standard Methods for the Examination of Water & Wastewaters' or UK Standing Committee of Analysts 'Methods for Examination of Waters and Related Materials'. There is a programme of environmental monitoring by the Council for this discharge-- - approximately 4 times per year. E.3 Tabular data on Monitoring and sampling points SEE TABLE E.3 E.4 Sampling Data. Attachment E.4.1 contains sampling data carried out by Emerald Environmental Services on 27/07/09 and 20/08/09. Attachment E.4.2 contains sampling data carried out by Wicklow County Council within the last 12 months and recorded on LabInfo. There are no monitoring requirements or treatment standards stated for wastewater treatment plants with a PE below 500 in the Urban Waste Water Treatment Regulations.
