11 Objectives The objectives of the workshop are: 1. To discuss and understand more on the requirement of clean water based on international standards as well as national/economy-specific problems and standards. 2. To review survey results and decide on priority topics for training, ILCs and proficiency testing schemes (PTs) to be conducted over the next 2-3 years. 11

12 Support from APMP and MEDEA The Planning workshop obtained funding support from MEDEA Project PTB and APMP FG Initiative. MEDEA provides funding support for flight tickets of delegates from developing economies APMP FG Initiative provides funding for accommodation and registration fee. 12
