Why I m Here To Discuss: Who are CPSL Group The Current Situation The Idea The Future

Core product areas - Solar PV - BioHeat / BioPower Biomass fuelled systems - Wind turbines - Grid connection and battery storage solutions - Hydrogen creation, storage and fuelling - Clean energy installations, care and maintenance - Finance - BioPower - Combined Heat and Power (CHP)

Working with Waste Companies CPSL Group have worked closely with a number of companies in the waste industry and from this, identified areas which need to be addressed. - Reducing Carbon Emissions to Inner City Areas - Reducing Landfill Disposal - Reducing Transportation Costs

The Question What more can be done to increase the use of cleaner vehicles as well as encourage the use of sustainable modes of transport?

The Concept CPSL have developed a patented system which aims to support Hybrid Hydrogen Diesel Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV). The purpose of this project is to enable waste industries to utilise the municipal waste collected & produce their own fuel, decreasing carbon emissions for Inner Cities and reducing the need for transporting their waste to landfill.

Why the CPSL Group Waste to Wheels System UK Councils and recycling operations are under pressure to reduce harmful vehicle carbon and NOx emissions Low emission Hydrogen Hybrid Diesel refuse vehicles are now fully developed and available. No Inner City urban emission charges Revenue generation and lower transport, fuel, electricity and landfill costs Eligible for Government CHP generation tariff (20 Years) Raise your company green credentials

The Process Fuel Store 13 Site Electrical Use 6 New Co 12 1 MW Biomass 1 100kW CHP 5 12kg per day H2 6 Wood Drying Walking Floor 11 Transport saving 3 Waste Drying Walking Floor 2 Disposal Saving 4 2 x H2 Refuse Vehicles 7 Ultra Low Emissions Refuse Collection 8 Waste Wood Chipper 10 Separation of Waste 9

Key Components BIOMASS CHP PLANT Waste in the form of SRF/RDF, Wood Fines, Medical Waste, Wood Waste is Processed to a manageable state Processed Waste is auto fed to the cyclonic burner Generated heat is used to produce electricity via Triogen CHP Surplus heat from generation process is used to dry material prior to the initial stage Electricity generated from Triogen CHP is used in part to crack Hydrogen from stored rainwater. Process is fully eligible for Government CHP Payments Cyclonic Burner

Key Components - Non- Electric Compressor The cracked hydrogen is % pure. This is then compressed using a nonelectric compressor unit to 450 bar.

Key Components WEH Hydrogen Delivery Unit The compressed hydrogen is delivered at 350 bar to vehicles via a dedicated WEH Hydrogen Delivery Unit and is self contained in a plug & play, 20ft naturally aspirated shipping container.

Revenue & Savings Biomass CHP with H2 Refuelling Item Number of Revenue Capex Size of Boiler kw 999 CHP Generation Tariff (20 Years Index Linked) 6,393,600 (kwh) 269, Number of Running Hours No of tonnes grade A, B or C Fuel per year 8000 hrs 2282 Ton Heat produced per annum (kwh) 6,393,600 Electricity produced per annum 799,200 kw No of Tonnes saving on transport TBC Electricity Consumed for H2 240,000 kw Electricity available for site use and parasitic loads 559,200 kw 61, Litres of Diesel Saving 197,010 21, Saving on Emission Charges TBC Total Revenue/Saving per Year 353, , Simple Payback 2.61 Years

Trial Site CPSL Group have a Hydrogen Trial Site based in Cheshire. The site uses surplus renewable energy from a 20kW wind turbine and a 48kW solar PV system for a 5kW AEM Electrolyser. The stored hydrogen is then used for refuelling commercial vehicles. For the waste to wheels project, the Biomass CHP has been identified as the most effective source of renewable energy, due to the fact waste companies will utilise the waste materials they collect. The trial site is available for viewing and we have an up and coming demonstration day for the date. Please see me at the end with your contact details if you would like to be invited to the demonstration.
