While our roots are in the petrochemical, power, and pulp and paper industries, growth over the years has allowed us to expand the size, scope, and reach of our operations. Operating out of eleven regional offices allows us to offer mechanical insulation, siding, scaffolding, fireproofing, coatings and linings, removable blankets, heat tracing, lead and asbestos abatement services nationwide. In addition to being a certified Minority Business Enterprise, we offer our customers personalized service, a nationwide labor force, and the purchasing power to complete projects on time and within budget. From high temperature processes represented in petroleum refineries to the moisture resistant applications critical to refrigeration systems, our craftsmen have the experience to complete every type of project. We fabricate and install custom made removable insulation blankets for valves, flanges, and other frequently serviced equipment. We offer estimating, design, engineering, equipment rental, and material tracking. From maintenance to turnarounds, capitol projects to outages, we have the people, experience and resources to meet all your scaffold needs. Petrochem scaffold specialists efficiently install and dismantle projects to the highest safety standards meeting all OSHA requirements. Scaffolding services, as with all of our services, may be provided as a standalone service or combined with our other services to add a cost effective multi-craft alternative. Each ensures that minimum fire protection is provided. Our installers are trained by the manufacturers and are experienced in a wide variety of materials to meet the strictest specifications of the most demanding projects. Protective coatings, tank linings, acid resistant systems, trowel applied epoxy flooring with thin film and decorative concrete systems are available. Other services include surface preparation, dry ice blasting, soda blasting, high and low pressure water cleaning, grit and media blasting, shot blasting, and industrial grinding. Spray applied ceramic insulation coatings are also available for applications up to 400 degrees. Electrical and steam heat tracing systems for all types and sizes of process piping and tanks can be engineered through one of our supplier partners. Installation is performed by our insulating crews. Combining the installation of the heat tracing system with the installation of the insulation material and jacketing ensures proper material size, fit, and finish. We safely and efficiently manage a broad range of environmental projects from emergency response situations to routine annual maintenance abatement services. Our experienced personnel provide abatement services in a competitive, responsive, and reliable manner. The prevention of occupational injuries and illness is of such a consequence to this belief that it will be given a top priority at all times. We have established an accident prevention program that emphasizes the integration of safety and health measures into each job so that safety and health along with job performance become inseparable. This is accomplished through the cooperative efforts of owners and employees who seek to obtain the lowest accident/injury rate possible. Petrochem is proud of our consistently low EMR and incident rating, which is well below the industry s average. Petrochem also recognizes that alcohol or substance abuse by an employee can impair their ability to perform properly and can have serious adverse effects on the safety, efficiency, and productivity of other employees and the company as a whole. Petrochem presently has contracts with three major substance testing facilities nationwide. We have stringent testing policies for pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion.
