3 Machines for Long Drive & Complex Layers For long driving in complex layer, the machines and the concerned equipments have been improved and built up complying with the jobsite requirements for recent years. Since Rasa have already supplied more than 300 sets of microtunneling machines to overseas market for complex layers, among of them, specially we have shipped most advanced machines for each year to Singapore (totally more than well over than 100 sets for recent 20 years to Singapore) although Singapore is very small Island with population approx. 5.4 million people. So why so many project on Segmental-shield machines and Microtunneling machines have been effected in Singapore.

8 DTSS (Deep Tunnel Sewage System) the backbone of NEWater Production) NEWater: a name of water that is filtered through a process from sewerage waste to become NEWater (this is a name only in Singapore) The DTSS are big tunnels of 6 meter in diameter & is co called the highway of Singapore Sewage pipeline.. Link sewers flow into the main DTSS pipeline which are then catch up by the Centralized sewerage treatment plant. Sewage pipeline (dia m) tenders are called by PUB sewage department. NEWater pipelines holds & transfers New water from treatment plant to Open Reservoir to be mixed with natural rain water catchment area. NEWater pipeline projects (dia m) tender are called by PUB water dpt.

18 Customers like a favorite method Most of all customers and operators like a favorite method Unfortunately, Japanese equipments are normally very tough and well maintained Machines just introduced are very conventional type and aged well over 20years nearly 30years Japanese customers do not want to buy any further advanced machines, and only well modifying and improving at the job-site requirements So, in Japanese market on microtunneling, Maintenance works are only busy..
