4 REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS Examples of the various projects that Credere has completed include the following: Naval Air Station Jet Fuel Pipeline Removal, Harpswell and Brunswick, Maine As a subcontractor to Charter Environmental, Credere provided Certified Geologist, full time field engineering oversight and environmental management services for the removal of an asbestos-jacketed 7.26 mile Jet Fuel pipeline from Casco Bay in Harpswell to Brunswick Naval Air Station, which also involved 14 stream crossing, 3 acres of wetlands, 1 acre of significant freshwater wetland, and 20 vernal pool crossings. This included environmental sampling, investigation and remediation oversight of releases from pipe. Removal of Brunswick Naval Air Station Jet Fuel Pipeline Superfund Mine Remediation Design and Oversight, Brooksville, Maine Callahan Mine Superfund Site As a subcontractor to Charter Environmental, Credere completed the final design for the remediation of mine waste including PCB contaminated soil removal and onsite disposal and capping of waste ore piles and contaminated residential soils, as well as storm water management planning and final grading. Credere also provided oversight, environmental monitoring and sampling, geotechnical testing and design, and remediation documentation during remediation activities. MaineGeneral Thayer Hospital Asbestos Abatement, Waterville, Maine MGMC Thayer Unit Waterville, Maine For this project, Credere performed phased asbestos abatement over 9 months as part of a redesign and remodeling of significant portions of this active and occupied hospital. Credere coordinated with the client and general contractor to complete abatement as each area became available and to keep the overall redevelopment on schedule. Because of unknown quantities of asbestos prior to starting the project, Credere worked on a time & materials basis, but was able to complete the original scope and a number of areas outside the original scope and still remain within the original contracted budget.

5 Army Corp of Engineers FUDS UST Removals, Maine As a subcontractor to Charter Environmental, Credere coordinated and implemented the removal of underground storage tanks from five Formerly Underutilized Defense Sites (FUDS) sites in Maine (Sedgwick, Topsfield, Eastport, Little Chebeague Island and Cow Island). Credere also provided Certified Geologist review of environmental reports. Removal of USTs from Little Chebeague Island, Maine FUDS Naval Air Station Environmental Audit and Vapor Intrusion Assessment, Brunswick, Maine Control Tower and Radar Facility, Brunswick, Maine As a subcontractor to Jacobs Engineering, Credere completed an Environmental Due Diligence Assessment (EDDA) and Vapor Intrusion Assessment (VIA) for the pending acquisition of Control Tower and Radar Control Facilities at the NAS Brunswick. This included the identification of environmental conditions as well as the evaluation of potential vapor intrusion conditions at the site. Eastern Fine Paper Remediation and Industrial Redevelopment, Brewer, Maine Cianbro Corporation Brewer Module Facility The former Eastern Fine Paper site in Brewer, Maine was redeveloped by Cianbro Constructors, LLC into a Modular Fabrication Facility creating 500 new jobs and leveraging $50 million in private investment. Credere completed the environmental assessment and remediation as part of the construction of the new facility. Our remedial design was intimately combined with the overall site design resulting in a cost savings of over $1 million. This site was chosen by USEPA Region 1 as one of the marquis success stories at the 2009 National Brownfields Conference and won the Region 1 Phoenix Award in 2009 for Brownfields excellence.

6 North Berwick Woolen Mill Remediation and Residential Redevelopment, Berwick, Maine The North Berwick Woolen Mill in North Berwick, Maine was assessed and remediated by Credere and was redeveloped by the Caleb Foundation into 40 affordable housing units for seniors. This project will supply housing units to meet 40% of the current demand for senior affordable housing in the area. Credere completed environmental assessment activities and oversaw remediation as part of the redevelopment. This site won the 2010 Region 1 Phoenix Award for Brownfields redevelopment excellence. North Berwick Woolen Mill Redevelopment Riverdam Mill Remediation and Redevelopment, Biddeford, Maine The Riverdam Mill in downtown Biddeford, Maine was redeveloped in 2010 by the Szanton Company into the Mill at Saco Falls creating 66 housing units. Credere conducted environmental assessment activities to determine the nature and extent of contamination that needed to be addressed as part of the redevelopment. Credere then managed and oversaw cleanup activities to address asbestos, lead-based paint, universal and regulated wastes, and contaminated soil. The Redeveloped Mill at Saco Falls Sanford Mill and Aerofab Mills Remediation and Redevelopment, Sanford, Maine Credere remediated the adjacent Sanford Mill and Aerofab Mill in Sanford, Maine, to facilitate redevelopment of the Sanford Mill into 22,000 square feet of commercial space and 25 residential housing units. Credere demolished the Aerofab Mill and designed and constructed a new parking lot on this property which acts as a cover system for contaminated soil and serves the Sanford Mill redevelopment. Remediation included removal of contaminated soils, covering of contaminated soil, asbestos and lead-based paint abatement. View from Residential Unit at Sanford Mill

7 Boiler House Remediation Engineering and Demolition Management, Nashua, New Hampshire Nashua Boiler House Credere investigated, remediated, and demolished the former Nashua Manufacturing Boiler House site in Nashua, New Hampshire in preparation for construction of a new bridge and roadway across this Site. This building formerly provided steam power to the entire Nashua Mill district. Credere performed the engineering, management, oversight, and implementation of remediation and demolition activities at this Site. This projected included remediation and disposal of over 700 cubic yards of asbestos, 3,500 cubic yards of petroleum contaminated soil, and 10,000 gallons of oil and contaminated water; and the demolition, crushing, and compacting onsite of the Site building. Landfill Leachate Scale Mitigation Programs Credere designed and implemented a program of leachate scale mitigation at three landfills in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Credere designed and implemented a program of hydrochloric acid washing to successfully restore the performance of the leachate collection system. Credere s design resulted in significant cost savings by avoiding a physical replacement of the leachate collection system. Martone Landfill Barre, Massachusetts Webster School Hazardous Materials Abatement and Redevelopment, Auburn, Maine Webster School Auburn, Maine For this project, Credere completed a hazardous building materials survey, developed and managed the approval of cleanup plans, directed the bidding and contract process, and performed remediation in support of the redevelopment of the Webster School into affordable housing and community space. Work included remediation of TSCA regulated PCB containing paints, asbestos abatement, UST removal, hazardous waste removal, remediation documentation, and regulatory reporting. Groundwater Treatment System Operation and Maintenance, Waltham, Massachusetts Credere performed facility operations and maintenance of a groundwater treatment system at the U.S. Postal Services facility in Waltham, Massachusetts, that included groundwater sampling and reporting, emergency response, air stripper and carbon treatment maintenance, and maintenance of pumping and carbon systems as well as monthly reporting.
