2 Page 2 of SECTION YARD TRASH DISPOSAL FACILITIES Requirements: The requirements listed in this section provide an opportunity for the Department's inspector to indicate the conditions found at the time of the inspection. A "Not " response to a requirement indicates either a potential violation of the corresponding rule or an area of concern that requires more attention. Both potential violations and areas of concern are discussed further at the end of this inspection report. (10) COMMENTS: On June 19, 2017 a routine inspection was conducted at the Cedar Bluff Pit Land Clearing Debris Disposal Facility to ensure compliance with the Department's Solid Waste Management rules. The facility is located on Haley Brooke Drive in the Southport Area of Bay County, Florida. At the time of the inspection, the facility was operating under DEP General Permit No SO. Coverage under this permit expires on March 14, The 814-SAND office was contacted earlier in the month to notify them that I would be inspecting the facility. The facility's entrance gate was open at the time of the inspection, but is securable with a locking gate. The

3 Page 3 of5 gate is left open during the day for incoming vehicular traffic but is secured at dusk each day. There were a few loads staged at the working face, ready for incorporation. The working face of the disposal area was small enough to be easily managed. Effective waste screening practices are evident as no prohibited waste was discovered at the disposal area. ATTACHMENTS:
