2 A SOLUTION ADAPTED TO TODAY S LIFESTYLES RENOWNED & PROVEN 113,000 INSTALLATIONS ENOWNED & PROVEN R worldwide Today s lifestyles have a major impact on a home s wastewater production. The Ecoflo technology offers you the best wastewater treatment performance and greatest stability under all conditions. Its patented filtering media acts as a true physical barrier that protects the existing soil and absorption bed. Ecoflo provides high performance immediately after start-up and a trouble-free use of the system. 1 2 SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE ZERO-ENERGY TO TREAT WASTEWATER Ecoflo is a passive system that uses a 100% natural filtering media to treat wastewater. No electricity is needed for the treatment. Septic tank (plastic or concrete) Clarifies wastewater from the residence by retaining solids. Effluent filter Prevents coarse particles (larger than 1.6 mm/0.06 ) from entering the Ecoflo Ecoflo unit The Ecoflo model and configuration of the treatment chain is determined by the design flow, site topography and the natural soil conditions of the site. Models are available in fiberglass, concrete and ready-to-use polyethylene tanks. Tipping bucket and distribution plates Uniformly distributes, with no energy, wastewaters to be treated on the entire surface of the filtering media Filtering media Wastewater percolates through the 100% organic filtering media, made of a layer of peat and overlaying a layer of coconut husk fragments, which act as a physical barrier to retain and treat contaminants. Dispersal bed 99% treated, Ecoflo effluent finally infiltrates the ground through a Type A or B Dispersal Beds or Shallow Buried Trench. Type A Dispersal Bed can be located directly underneath an open bottom Ecoflo Biofilter A PROMISE KEPT 20 years of innovation have resulted in the continuous improvement of the best onsite wastewater treatment with regard to performance, flexibility and reliability for homeowners, small communities and small businesses. Today, 80% of all installed filters last longer than their initial warranty period (8 or 10 years)! THE IMPORTANCE OF THIRD PARTY FIELD MONITORING The system has been tested in both North America and Europe by third party entities. Results provide clear evidence of its high performance and reliability under all test conditions. Each time, the effluent quality exceeded standards. Results obtained on recognized test platforms By simulating today s lifestyles (intermittent use, The system flow at: variable flow, zero-flow, overload, power or equipment failure), the Ecoflo achieved the best 12 weeks results during comparative tests. The system also successfully passed all required EN Standard tests and is CAN/BNQ certified in Canada and CE in Europe.
