(with 600 m. long bridge) Warehouse/Office Bulk Plants Lay-down/Storage areas Access Road, and buffer zone Key achievements and project milestones: Front End Engineering Design 100% completed Coastal modeling 100% completed HIA Public Scoping (PP1) March 2010 HIA Public Review (PP2) August 2010 EIA Submittal September 2010 Complete Detail Design July 2011 EIA & Permits Approval December 2011* Construction Start Q1 2012* Operate as single shore base Q3 2013* Note: * expected dates only
10 New Aviation Center in Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST) New aviation center (located in NST commercial airport) Operations start on January 6, 2011 Service 12-seat helicopters (S76C++) with an average of daily 12 flights, during 6:00-17:30 hrs. Night flights operated only in case of emergency (max of 20 flights a day including training, maintenance and emergency flights) About 8,200 inbound and outbound passengers per month The new airbase is operated based on international safety and environmental standard Flying from this single base helps reduce total average traveling distance, more cost-effective, increasing efficiency in operations and safety of employees.
11 To become part of the NST communities, Chevron personnel (employees and contractors) should understand and appreciate local traditions and respect people s ways of life. Do s and Don ts for newcomers to NST brochure has been produced by applying Chevron s core values as the behavioral guidelines for working, traveling and daily living in the NST province. The brochure was distributed at the check-in counter at the NST Aviation Center and can be downloaded from Contractor Safety webpage on Safety/default.asp
