And in today s market of changing engine oil specifications, advancements in technology, and increased global demand for base stocks, the expertise and integrity of your base stock manufacturer to design and control its slates are more important and more valuable to you than ever before. Our robust Group I CORE and Group II EHC slates provide you with a broad range of base stocks of consistent quality with compatible characteristics that give you confidence in your blends and formulations. Rely on our slates for: greater flexibility and business continuity faster qualification across many products lubricant product integrity reduced complexity cost and time savings through a simplified testing program and optimized additive treatments when compared to using base stocks outside a manufacturer s declared slate. Your products will maintain integrity when applying base oil interchange (BOI) or viscosity-grade read-across rules (VGRA). Approved BOI and VGRA rules within the slate allow you to use different base stock viscosity grades to blend a given formulation or to blend various lubricant grades with the same technology.
