SPECIFIC CONDITIONS : S.NO. CONDITIONS COMPLIANCE STATUS i. Continuous stack monitoring facilities to monitor gaseous emissions from all the stacks shall be provided and particulate matter shall be controlled within 50mg/Nm3 by installing adequate air pollution control system e.g bag house to raw mill/ Kiln and ESP to clinker cooler. Bag filters shall be provided to crushing plant, Raw mill Hopper, Coal Mill Hopper, Coal Mill, blending silo,cement mill, Cement Mill silo, Cement Mill hopper etc to control air emissions less than 50 mg/nm3. Photos showing online monitoring system are presented in Annexure-I Adequate air pollution control systems are proved as detailed below to maintain SPM well within the prescribed limits. 2 towers to control the particulate emission less than 50 mg/nm3. ii. iii. iv. Secondary fugitive emissions shall be controlled and should be within the prescribed limits & regularly monitored. Guidelines /Code of practice issued by the CPCB in this regard shall be followed. The Company shall install adequate dust collection and extraction system to control fugitive dust emissions due to raw material handling (unloading, conveying, transporting, stacking), Vehicular movement, bagging & Packing areas etc. Closed conveyors shall be used for transportation for raw material and silos should be used for the storage of cement, clinker etc. The covered sheds for raw material storage, bag filter at material transfer points, water sprinkling in internal roads etc, shall be provided. Lime stone from lime stone mines shall be transported by closed trucks to cement plant.water spray system shall be provided all around the coal stockpiles and dust suppression system around the coal conveyor system. Asphalting /Concreting of roads & water spray all around the coal stockpiles shall be carried out to control fugitive emissions. We have taken necessary APC measures to control the fugitive emissions within the prescribed limits and being monitored regularly. High efficiency Bag Filters have been installed in all transfer points and Storage silos for effective control of fugitive emission. We have installed adequate high efficiency Pulsejet Type Bag filters to control fugitive dust emissions in all the material handling systems. All the raw material conveyors are covered and silos have been installed for storage of raw meal, clinker and cement. Covered sheds are provided for raw material storage. Limestone from the mines will be transported by closed trucks. Water spray system and necessary dust suppression system are provided in Coal stockpiles and coal conveying systems. Concrete road are laid within plant premises to control fugitive emissions. Regular water spray is being done to control fugitive dust emissions. 2

Total water requirement from SriSailem Right Bank Canal (SRBC) shall not exceed 1180m3/day.No ground water shall be used as proposed.all the wastewater shall be recycled/reused in the process, dust suppression, green belt development.domestic effluent shall be treated in sewage treatment plant (STP).No wastewater shall be discharged outside the factory premises and Zero discharge shall be adopted. vi. vii. Prior permission for the drawl of 1180 m3/day from Sri Salem Right Canal (SRBC) shall be obtained from the concerned Department. All the cement dust collected from pollution control devices viz ESP,Bag house, Bag filter etc shall be recycled and reutilized in the process in cement manufacturing.stp sludge will be used as manure for the green belt development. Hazardous waste viz spent oil from gear box & automatic batteries etc shall be properly stored in a designated area and sold to authorised recyclers / reprocessors. Being Dry process is used for manufacturing Cement, hence there is no generation of process wastewater. Return water from cooling system is routed back to collection tank and recycled back into system. Domestic wastewater is treated in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and it is being used for greenbelt maintenance completely. Permission for the drawal of 3200 m3/day from SRBC / GNSS Flood flow Canal has been obtained from the Irrigation & C.A.D (PW - Reforms) Department,Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.71 dated Being Dust collected from APC Equipments viz ESP, Bag house, Bag filter etc are being recycled and reutilized in the process in cement manufacturing. Occupational Health Surveillance Programme will be done on a regular basis & records will be maintained.the Programme will include lung function & sputum analysis test once in six months. 7 ix. The company shall undertake eco - development measures including community welfare measures in the project. The project proponent shall also comply with all the environmental protection measures and safeguards recommended in the EIA/EMP xi. A separate environmental management cell with full fledged laboratory facilities to carry out various management & monitoring functions shall be set up xii. under the control of Senior Executive. Adequate funds shall be earmarked towards the total cost & recurring cost/annum for implementing environment pollution control measures shall be judiciously used to implement the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Environment & Forests as well as the State Government. The Regional office of this Ministry at Bangalore /CPCB/APPCB shall monitor the stipulated conditions. The Project Proponent shall inform the public that the project has been accorded Environmental Clearance by the Ministry and copies of the Clearance Letter are available with the A.P Pollution Control Board & may also be seen at website of the Ministry of Environment & Forests at http/envfor.nic.in.this shall be advertised within seven days from the date of issue of the clearance letter at least in two local newspapers that are widely circulated in the region of which one shall be in vernacular language of locality concerned & a copy of the same should be forwarded to the Regional Office. 8
