Brock 60- through 105-foot ( m) diameter commercial bins are designed to allow for the use of temperature cables in addition to the allowable peak loads posted. MAXIMUM GRAIN-HOLDING STEEL AT ALL LEVELS FOR GREATER STRENGTH Sidewall body sheets are 8- through 20-gauge commercial-grade G-90 galvanized steel with a minimum tensile strength of up to 65,000 psi (448 MPa) and a minimum yield strength of up to 50,000 psi (345 MPa) to protect grain and provide maximum strength at all levels. Identification codes on every body sheet provide manufacturing date, part number and steel gauge. On taller bins, Brock uses two sidewall panels laminated together for greater strength. STRONG STIFFENER DESIGN Brock s unique all-galvanized steel sidewall stiffener is an industry leader. Sidewalls are assembled using Brock s high-strength Grade 8.2 bin seal bolts with special JS-1000 coating to provide superior weather-resistance. Optional Brock polypropylene-encapsulatedhead bolts provide enhanced corrosion resistance. SOLID ANCHORING OF LARGE BINS FOR SINGLE-PASS SWEEP OPERATION Unique Brock FULL SWEEP Bin Anchoring System: Is standard on all BROCK Commercial Grain Bins 72 feet (22 m) in diameter and larger. Safely handles normal bin stresses generated during single-pass sweep operation. Saves time, reduces labor and eliminates the need for bin entry during the sweep process. Firmly reinforces Brock s bottom-tier sidewall body sheet to anchor the bin and to prevent moisture penetration.
