4 Environmental Policy We, Panasonic Electric Works (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Khon Kaen Branch), perform to achieve our business management with utilizing natural sources and considering environment as the manufacturing company which produces relays, switches and connectors in compliance with; 1. We comply with the environmental related regulations and the environmental consideration matters which has agreed with the relevant organizations. 2. We save natural resources and measure the environmental aspects during the process of all business activities between production, sales, services and scraps. 3. This environmental policy is opened to the public. 4. We promote the environmental objectives and target for the reduction of energy, chemical substances and other wastes in order to achieve the environmental policy. 5. We tackle to the environmental improvement continually with the communication to the inside and outside of the company such as each environmental relevant organizations.

Aiming to reduction of environmental impact Title : Energy Conservation Project. The Energy Conservation Project by Energy Team of PEWTH-KK for continuous improvement such as; 1.

Control On-Off Period Time of Air Conditioner -> Energy Saving = 2,467 Kwh/Y 4. Installation of Temperature Autometic Control to Air Conditioner -> Energy Saving = 42,764 Kwh/Y 5.

Take off high Bay Fixture light in unnecessary areas -> Energy Saving = 8,218 Kwh/Y 8.

5 Aiming to reduction of environmental impact Title : Energy Conservation Project. The Energy Conservation Project by Energy Team of PEWTH-KK for continuous improvement such as; 1. Heat Exchange Efficiency Improvement of Air Condition -> Energy Saving = 31,985 Kwh/Y 2. Installation Inverter Control Monitor Fan of Cooling Tower -> Energy Saving = 31,985 Kwh/Y 3. Control On-Off Period Time of Air Conditioner -> Energy Saving = 2,467 Kwh/Y 4. Installation of Temperature Autometic Control to Air Conditioner -> Energy Saving = 42,764 Kwh/Y 5. Change Thermostat from Bi-Metal Type -> Energy Saving = 18,391 Kwh/Y 6. Bi-Metal Type to electronic Type -> Energy Saving = 8,218 Kwh/Y 7. Take off high Bay Fixture light in unnecessary areas -> Energy Saving = 8,218 Kwh/Y 8. Change Lamp 28 watt to Compact Lamp 8 watt -> Energy Saving = 699 Kwh/Y Total CO2 Emission Reductions = 118,014 kg-co2 /Yr. Title : Green Factory in PEWTH-KK - Planted trees project ( Green Factory ) around factory. - Clean factory " Big Cleaning Day " and promotion of recycle activity. - Reduce Non-Hazardouse waste by generation for sale. - Distribute the tree for employee (Gift Birth Day ) every month to planting. - Have keep grass from graden to make compost and manure for garden and avoid use of chemicals. Environmental Communication Emergency preparedness and response Company has established, implemented and maintains a procedure to identify potential emergency situations and potential accidents, and conducts a periodic review.
