Asked by : Shri B.K.Chauhan (Chamba) Concerned Minister : MPP & Power Minister Question Reply (a) how many Power Projects, i.e. small, medium and big have been constructed on the river Ravi and its tributaries in the District of Chamba; details with names of the owners of companies; generation capacity and actual generation recorded during the last 3 years be given; and (a) Twenty four Hydro Power Projects having aggregated installed capacity of 1411MW stand commissioned under various sectors viz state, central, private sectors and Himurja, on river Ravi and its tributaries in Chamba District. Out of these 24 Hydro-electric projects, a total of Million Unit energy has been generated during last three financial years viz , and as detailed below: Financial Year Actual Generation (in Million Unit) MU MU MU Total MU

Chamba, by the above Independent Power Producers (IPPs) involved in operation of above 24 Hydro Electric Projects on Ravi river in distt. Chamba, during last three years viz upto 31 st March 2012, and The year wise detail of contribution of fund deposited by the IPPs in respect of 24 HEPs towards development in district Chamba are as under:- Financial Years Funds Deposited (in Rs.)
