2 Alternative Energy Notes *Alternative energy sources must have a natural process that can be used to produce energy. *Alternative energy resources are Biofuels, Geothermal, Hydroelectric, Solar, and Wind. *Using these sources of energy can produce less waste than using fossil fuels. This helps to conserve the Earth s Natural Resources. -Why are certain energy resources called alternative resources?
