Recyllose TM Products from sewage Turning wastewater into a cellulose-mine What is Recyllose? Recyllose, a recycled cellulose-based product, is a renewable resource. It is a unique new compound consists of high levels of recycled cellulose fibers extracted from wastewater. Being a bio-solid material, Recyllose, can be used in a variety of industries, making it a new source of revenue. Recyllose, the sewage mining outcome bio-based product, is a high-quality, dry, pathogen-free, pasteurized resource. The Recyllose is automatically produced from trapped wastewater solids by Applied CleanTech s Sewage Recycling System (SRS). Packed directly on-site and suitable for long-term storage, transportation and industrial applications, Recyllose can be supplied in the form of pellets, grind or fluff, and with any additional post-production treatment required for the final product. Recyllose is a valuable commodity that replaces cellulose and can be used as an economical additive in a variety of industries: As an additive for pulp and paper As feedstock for bio-plastics As an additive to construction and insulation products As an energy-efficient biofuel As a resource for production of Nano-Cellulose And more. Benefits: A unique untapped source of recycled cellulose Generates income instead of expenses Avoid sludge formation High value, revenue-generating, renewable resource Recycled & environmentally-friendly Reduced carbon footprint Multipurpose suitable for use as an alternative or additive in various industries Automatically produced and packed on-site Can be supplied in different forms and humidity, according to uses and needs
How are Recyllose TM created? Applied CleanTech (ACT)'s unique patented Sewage Recycling System (SRS) technology is the ONLY known technology to date that treats raw wastewater BEFORE they become sludge and fully recycle the cellulose on continius process,, thus reducing sludge formation by up to 50% and enabling the WWTP to benefit from a process that is organically halfloaded. ACT's SRS technology is complementary to any existing treatment available today. Applied CleanTech mines the cellulose component inherent in wastewater, transforming sewage treatment into products from sewage - Recyllose. It is designed for treating municipal, industrial and agricultural wastewater. ACT s solutions are suitable for wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) serving areas with populations of 5,000 and up, as well as industrial pulp & paper, textile, laundry and food & beverage treatment plants.. The SRS automatically produces pellets or pulp made from cellulose fibers, which are found in many discarded items, like toilet paper, fibers from clothes, or fruits and vegetables. The SRS traps the particles, cleans them, thus enhancing their quality; rinses, pasteurizes and dehydrates them to less than 10% moisture content. Then packs them to pellet, grind or fluff, turning them into Recyllose. Recyllose is free of heavy metals and hazardous materials and contains mainly cellulose fibers (60-80%), oil (8-10%) and minerals (3-12%). It has a high calorific value of Kcal / kg. 1 ton Recyllose TM produced daily, saves approx.. 18 trees, which are 6570 trees per year!! Each 1 million people's sewage saves approx. 720 trees per day, which are 10 acres of rainforest that can be saved EVERY DAY!! ~ 25,000 = / day = = 6570 trees per year
Recyllose TM Environmental Benefits Recyllose reduces the use of fossil fuels and timbered trees, thus reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and has a positive impact on clean development mechanism (CDM) and carbon footprint calculations. The SRS also presents numerous environmental benefits, including reducing GHG emissions due to reduction in sludge formation, energy savings, and more. The SRS can utilize Recyllose for all heat energy requirements of the system. Recycled cellulose for various applications The numerous uses of the Recyllose as replacement to cellulse in so many applications position it as a revolutionary, unique and highly versatile recycled product, with promising future. Plastic Insulation / construction Bio-fuel / bioethanol Energy Pulp &Paper ACT's SRS technology, as well as Recyllose, transform urban sewage into an economic asset and providing extensive environmental advantages. What was once a nucence is now a reusable, revenue-generating commodity. * Where sewage composition is normal and does not contain heavy metals. * Cellulose does not bond with heavy metals so the vast majority of heavy metals continue with the sewage flow
The unique properties of the Recyllose allow it to be used in numerous uses: Material Replaces % Yield from 1 ton Recyllose Pulp & Paper Construction (concrete, asphalt, cement, woodplastic composition) Insulation Ash Energy - heat (combustion) Liquid Energy bio diesel / bio ethanol Filler for plastic products / Bio-plstic Trees Virgin paper Recycled paper Sand Cellulose aggregate Glue Rockwool Cellulose Coal Wood Chemicals Wood pellets Coal Corn Olive / Agr waste Corn Sugar cane Wood pellets Recycled plastic Polymers 80% 80% 8% 50% n/a Polyester Recycled plastic 80% Bio-polymer (PLA) Fossil fuels n/a Animal feed Bird droppings 90% Industrial sugar Glucose 80% Growth-media for plants & mushrooms Mold Coconut fibers Straw Other growth-media Nano-Cellulose Cellulose / Virgin cellulose 20%

Plants using the SRS have also reduced their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), making them eligible for carbon credits. ACT SRS has been successfully installed worldwide.
