Nevertheless, at the same time it must remain flexible in the medium-term in order to be able to adapt in case of fundamental changes in the situation. 15 Summary requirements for successful energy research in Germany: Concept, Infrastructure, Resources, Continuity provided by the Energy Research Programme fossil energy carriers will continue to play an important role COORETEC takes up the needs to support R&D for low-co 2 - emission technologies and has proven a successful instrument active participation of science and industry quick implementation of new results R&D efforts are supported by energy policies, such as: establish legal frameworks (CCS-legislation in Germany) public information on new technologies
