Automatic ambient temperature control is automatically regulated by the unit to compensate temperature lower than +10 C up +45 C. A specific design may guarantee ambient temperature over +45 C. The air circulation with the external ambient is avoid keeping the inside area clear without any contamination form ambient impurities (dust, humidity/water, ammonia ). The BGA System guarantee as a safety installation in conformity with Atex Directive (a specific Exp Certification is available on request). The BGA System is manufactured in painted iron with 5-6mm of isolation material to reduce the environmental temperature variation (winner / summer). An automatic ambient control guarantee a stable temperature. For ambient >45 C is available a cooler system as accessories. The BGA System is available with a separate support and roof to protect by environmental conditions (sun radiation, rain, snow ). This support may be supplied also by the customer if preferred. Also a specific design is available to keep the calibration bottle fix with the unit; a pressure reducer is integrated in the unit to guarantee a stable 20mbar at the inlet of the analyser and a double ball valve give the possibility to use also a portable calibration bottle for other operator. PARAMETERS [CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2] The parameters that need to be monitored in the Biological Plant to keep the performance of the process under control, are usually CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2.

3 PARAMETERS [CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2] The parameters that need to be monitored in the Biological Plant to keep the performance of the process under control, are usually CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2. BGA Series is available to measure all these parameter using just one unit. The unit help the user monitoring the quality of the gas produced by the Biological Process in real time. All parameters are measured in real time and any calculation is needed. The analysis of each parameter offer the possibility to monitor the quality of the process in all phases. IMPURITIES in the gas process [water, condensation, ] Sometimes the sample point of the process gas has to be made in conditions where the fluid is wet and/or with % of water in suspension. Also the temperature is an important parameter that needs to be taken in consideration (dewpoint of the gas, gas temperature and ambient temperature - temperature where the analyzer is installed). BGA Series is available with own sample gas conditioning system to guarantee the best filtration. An internal pump guarantee the sampling also up 100 meters (distance between analyser and sample point). MULTI-STREAM [up 8 channel / gas input] Sometimes is necessary to monitor more than one point in the process to keep the quality under control. Inca Series is available from one up to 8 gas input in multi-stream configuration for specific request to meet the plant requirement. The gas selection is made with integrated electrovalves assembled with the gas conditioning system to guarantee the best performance also with wet gas. TECHNOLOGY The BGA Series uses the latest miniature infrared technology for the detection of CH4 and CO2. Each sensor has a 0-100% Volume range which is necessary for the biogas application. The use of infrared sensors means that the level of CO2 can be measured accurately and the CH4 sensor cannot be poisoned if high levels of H2S are present. COMMUNICATIONS [data logging, output, display ] BGA Series is available with own local digital display and keypad for a friendly monitoring of the measured values and parameter setting in the unit. All information are available in a profibus output. CALIBRATION & MAINTENANCE Each BGA Series is pre-calibrated in factory. Also an inspection in Italy (at Baggi/Milano Factory) is available as per Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) where a calibration gas bottle is used. Each analyser is shipped ready to be used. Anyway BAGGI is available with own technician for an assistance during the start-up of the unit on-site (usually suggested).
