2 What is Stormwater Runoff? The waters derived from rains falling or snowmelt or ice melt occurring within the drainage area, flowing over the surface of the ground and collected in channels, watercourses or conduits.

14 IT HAS TO BE A SHARED SOLUTION! Many of our stormwater facilities in one district handle stormwater runoff from other districts. Example: The new detention/infiltration pond in Lakeview Park handles water from Stricker and Tiedeman Ponds. When assessing the overall effectiveness of Middleton s stormwater facilities, newer, highly efficient facilities compensate for the older facilities that only serve as a conduit to the lake.
