16 When to use LEED O+M Alterations: Less than 50% of total building floor area is affected Less than 50% of regular building occupants must be relocated Additions: Increase in total floor area must be less than 50% of existing area

22 Submittals and Documentation Using LEED O+M scorecard, project team decides which credits to pursue Project team will collect information and perform calculations to satisfy the intended credits throughout the Performance Period Performance Period: 3 to 24 months

23 Certification and Review *Project must be submitted to USGBC within 60 days of Performance Period closing The submittal will include: Completed submittal templates Project narrative LEED O+M scorecard Drawings and photos of building and site

24 Certification and Review Initial submittal to be reviewed by GBCI within 4 6 weeks of submittal date GBCI responds to each individual credit with either accepted or provide more documentation for clarification Project design team must respond with additional documentation within 25 business days Project design team submits clarification documentation and certification level is awarded (or denied) within 3 weeks
