We operate in three main businesses: Subsea In subsea hydrocarbon development, Technip s activities include the design, manufacture and installation of rigid and flexible subsea pipelines and umbilicals. Thanks to its portfolio of technologies and industrial and operational assets, Technip offers a unique vertically integrated model in the industry. The Group has 3 flexible pipe manufacturing plants, 4 umbilical production units, 9 logistics and pipeline assembly bases, and 1 construction yard. Technip s worldwide leadership is supported by a modern fleet of vessels for subsea construction, pipelay development (rigid and flexible pipes using S-Lay, J-Lay or Reeled technology) and heavy lift applications. Offshore In the Offshore business segment Technip performs engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and the refurbishment/upgrading of offshore facilities for the oil and gas industry. Technip provides these services for fixed platforms in shallow water with conventional sub-structures and self-installing platforms such as the TPG 500 and for deepwater facilities including Spar, semi-submersible, TLP, FPSO and FLNG units. Technip is a world leader in floatover installation of topsides and its R&D effort is focused technology transfer for local content and new frontier areas such as ultra-deepwater and the Arctic. Onshore Technip covers the full range of onshore facilities for the oil and gas chain, petrochemicals and other energy industries (nuclear, renewables including biofuels and offshore wind). It holds many proprietary cuttingedge technologies and is the leader in the design and construction of LNG and gas treatment plants as well as ethylene, hydrogen and syngas units. Technip is also one of the key actors in refining and petrochemical units, and has developed a leadership position in the fertilizer industry. Moreover, the Group is very active in non-energy activities such as mining and metals, life sciences, buildings and infrastructures. 2

4 Sweetening KUPE GAS PROJECT - New Zealand - 70 Tj/d We have designed over 50 plants for the removal of carbon dioxide and sulphur components from natural gas using chemical or physical solvents. The total installed capacity is about 20 BSCFD (190 BCM) with the largest single unit capacity at around 1.45 BSCFD. The acid gas content (H 2 S + CO 2 ) of gases treated ranges from a few ppm to 60%. 5 Sulphur recovery With some 80 units producing more than 35,000 t/d, we are the leading engineering contractor in the field of sulphur recovery plants. GONFREVILLE - France - 140t/d Technip works with all main process licensors such as Lurgi, Pritchard, Parsons, UOP and IFP. We designed the world s largest capacity (2,250 t/d) for Machino-import at Astrakan (Russia). OGD 1 - Abu Dhabi - 2,100 t/d in 3 units HAWIYAH - Saudi Arabia - 1,050 t/d in 3 units Gas processing 5

6 Dehydration OGD 2 - Abu Dhabi - Glycol unit We have extensive experience in gas dehydration units using solid dessicant (mainly molecular sieves) or glycol. A total capacity in excess of 30 billion SCFD has been installed by Technip with single unit capacity ranging from 8 million SCFD to more than 1 billion SCFD. 7 Gas-To-Liquids (GTL) Technip built Qatar's first GTL plant for the QP/Sasol joint venture (Oryx) in Ras Laffan, with the highest reactor capacity to-date. Through the acquisition of Stone & Webster Process Technologies, we are the exclusive co-developer of Sasol Fischer Tropsch reactor technology. PETROSA GTL unit - South Africa Gas-To-Liquids (GTL) technology converts natural gas into high quality petroleum products, such as naphtha and diesel fuel. They are sulphur free, contain no aromatics and the diesel fuel has a high cetane number. Technip is a leader in the design and construction of GTL facilities. Construction of the Oryx GTL complex was completed in This was the result of 3 years of intense and challenging work for our Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams. 9 NGL recovery technology CRYOMAX is a family of processes for gas fractionation to recover C 2 + and/or C 3 + hydrocarbons from natural gas and refinery off-gases. Each CRYOMAX process is adapted to clients requirements and optimised for maximum project profitability. Having been active in LNG ever since, we are one of the few major players in this field providing all services from conceptual study to lump sum turnkey projects. Technip delivered 54 Mtpa of production capacity between 2009 and 2010 LNG receiving terminals Technip offers the complete range of services for LNG receiving terminals: Conceptual design studies including terminal siting studies Design services for permitting activities Front-End Engineering & Design (FEED) services Complete detailed engineering, procurement and construction capability to execute the LNG Terminal on a lump sum turnkey basis. In 2008, Technip's Houston office completed the Freeport LNG terminal on the Texas Gulf Coast.
