2 The renewable energy industry is receiving significant investment with the current focus on alternative and clean energy sources, leading to increasing demand for skilled engineers with expertise in the diverse range of technologies utilised in renewable energy systems. The HFT Education range complements the Power Systems range of products and allows the study of the most commonly used renewable energy generation systems including Wind, Solar, Hydroelectric, Fuel Cells and Biofuel production. Students can experiment with each generation method individually, studying the theory and performance characteristics of each renewable energy generator, the appropriate storage and conversion techniques and application of technologies in a real world environment.
