C1-41/B/1 & 2, GIDC Industrial Estate, Nandesari, Vadodara, Gujarat and proposes to manufacture Allyl Iso Thiocynate, Benzhydrol, 4-Methyl Cyclohexanol, 4- Methyl Cyclohexanone, Styrene Oxide, Phenyl Ethyl Chloride, P- Tertiary Butyl Cyclohexyl Acetate, Phenyl Ethyl Propionate, Phenyl Ethyl Butyrate, Phenyl Ethyl Iso Butyrate, Phenyl Ethyl Formate, Phenyl Ethyl Benzoate, Phenyl ethyl methyl Ether, Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, 2- Methoxy Naphthalene, Allyl Caproate, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Acetate, Amyl Salicylate, Iso Amyl Salicylate, Methyl Salicylate, Cinnamaldehyde, Hexyl Salicylate and Cetyl Chloride. SOURCE OF POLLUTION Details of Air Pollution The main source of air pollution will be from stack under the Air Act, Proper stack height required for proper atmosphere dispersion. Height provided for stack is as per the pollution control norms. Air pollution is basically generated from Boiler, THF & Process vents and fugitive emissions due to raw material transfer. Boiler will be equipped with stacks of suitable height and to control process emission unit will provide scrubber followed by stack with suitable height and monitoring facility. Mode of Disposal and disposal to GPCB authorised recyclers. and reused within premises for lubrication purposes. and disposal to suppliers for reactivation. and disposal to TSDF and disposal to incineration ETP Sludge will be sent to TSDF, NECL, Nandesari for its disposal. 8. FUNDS FOR POLLUTION CONTROL MEASURES The management will contribute adequate funds for the pollution control measures. Necessary provision for Environmental management system will be part of practice in proposed project. Rs. 80 lacs will be used for Environment Management System. 9. MONITORING FACILITIES Air sampling will be done by outside agency and will be part of practice in future expansion projects.
7 10. CONCLUSION There will be no adverse impact on the ground water environment due to the operation of the project, as the project is located in GIDC. The air environment will have negligible effect due to the activities related to the operation of the project. The project will not contribute any adverse impact on the surrounding soil, as the pollutants emitted are of the negligible amount. Biodiversity in the surrounding area of the project will not be affected due to the operation of the project, as the pollutants emitted are of negligible amount. The project will generate direct and indirect employment.
