2 COLUMBIA MIDSTREAM develops lasting infrastructure for producers throughout the Appalachian Basin. We specialize in the design, construction, and operation of facilities that transport and prepare natural gas for market throughout western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northeastern West Virginia. As a subsidiary of Columbia Pipeline Group, we have been operating in and around the Basin for more than 100 years. During that time, we have built an extensive network of gathering systems and transmission lines, and have established ourselves as an integral part of the natural gas industry. With this footprint in place, we offer producers capacity on our existing systems in addition to seeking out partnerships in the development of new infrastructure. From pipelines to cryogenic processing facilities, we have the capabilities and experience to develop midstream projects of any type or size. MAJORSVILLE GATHERING SYSTEM The Majorsville Gathering System was implemented as part of the first integrated gathering and processing system serving Marcellus production in southwest Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia. The system includes a 46-mile pipeline and a 7,100 horsepower compressor station, which allow for the transportation of liquidrich Marcellus gas from Washington and Greene Counties in Pennsylvania, and from Marshall County in West Virginia, to the MarkWest Liberty Majorsville Processing Plant. Residue gas from the processing plant is delivered into two different interstate pipeline systems. Columbia Midstream re-purposed existing assets to meet an expedited project delivery schedule during the initial construction of the system in The compressor station underwent an upgrade in 2013, expanding the capacity of the system by 1,800 horsepower. The expansion increased the reliability of the system for customers, and now allows for the gathering and delivery of approximately 350,000 dekatherms of Marcellus gas production per day. BIG PINE GATHERING SYSTEM A combination of the existing Columbia Gas Transmission footprint, established relationships and good geology made western Pennsylvania the ideal location for a $165 million investment in the Big Pine Gathering System. The system includes 55 miles of 20- and 24-inch gathering pipeline, extending through the heart of the Pennsylvania Marcellus shale play in Butler, Armstrong, Indiana and Westmoreland counties. The initial construction of the Big Pine System involved newly built pipeline and several major river crossings. We met an extremely aggressive schedule to ensure that gas would flow to market the moment producers were ready. This project of exceptional size and scope was delivered in 14 months an unprecedented accomplishment in the industry. The aggressive timeline from letter of intent to project completion didn t just satisfy the needs of a major producer; it demonstrated the capabilities of Columbia Midstream in a fast-paced and challenging operating environment. Furthermore, it demonstrated how Columbia Midstream is a reliable and trustworthy midstream service provider, going the extra mile for our customers. The Big Pine System delivers gas to three interstate transmission lines in Butler, Indiana and Westmoreland counties. A 10.5 mile extension and expansion that will connect the system to a residue line at MarkWest s Bluestone Plant in Butler County is currently underway. This ongoing project will provide additional capacity to the line, allowing for the transportation of up to 425,000 dekatherms per day. Columbia Midstream expects this project to contribute positively to local communities and the state of Pennsylvania, and to further the safe and responsible development of Pennsylvania s shale resources. EAST WASHINGTON GATHERING SYSTEM Columbia Midstream is currently constructing the East Washington System to gather natural gas production developed in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The 20-mile pipeline system will have capacity for 240 million cubic feet per day and will gather gas within North and South Strabane Townships. In addition to a natural gas gathering system, Columbia Midstream will construct centralized dehydration and separation equipment near the interconnect with Columbia Gas Transmission line The first phase of the system met an expedited producer timeline for completion, and was made ready for service in mid Compression will be added to expand the capacity of the system as early as 2017.

4 PENNANT MIDSTREAM HICKORY BEND GATHERING AND PROCESSING FRANCHISE Utilizing our strong mineral acreage position, Columbia Midstream formed two joint ventures with affiliates of Hilcorp Energy Company to construct and operate the Hickory Bend Gathering and Processing Franchise under the Pennant Midstream name. The first joint venture was an upstream development partnership, combining the Columbia Midstream acreage position with that of a larger position held by Hilcorp. The second joint venture was formed to gather and process gas production in the area, as well as handle hydrocarbon production from third parties in the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays. As a result, the Hickory Bend Gathering System and Hickory Bend Processing Plant (a $375 million investment) were built, with Columbia Midstream managing the construction and acting as the operator. The scope of the Hickory Bend Project includes approximately 60 miles of 20- and 24-inch wet gas gathering and natural gas liquids pipeline facilities in northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, with capacity of more than 600 million cubic feet of gas per day. It also includes a cryogenic processing facility in Mahoning County, Ohio that processes 200 million cubic feet of gas per day, expandable up to 800 million cubic feet per day. GIBRALTAR & BUFFALO CREEK PIPELINES Two new assets are currently being added to the Columbia Midstream portfolio. The Gibraltar and Buffalo Creek Pipelines will transport natural gas developed throughout Washington County, Pennsylvania. The Gibraltar Project is a 16-mile, 36-inch pipeline that will transport gas south from Claysville, Pennsylvania to a point near Columbia s Majorsville Compressor Station. The Buffalo Creek Project will tie into Gibraltar, extending north from Claysville, to a point near Houston, Pennsylvania, adding nine miles of 36-inch pipeline to the system. Both projects will run adjacent to Columbia Gas Transmission s Line 1758 and will have a total capacity of transporting 1 billion cubic feet per day. Gibraltar is expected to be put into service by mid The pipelines will eventually allow producers to access Columbia Pipeline Group s Leach Xpress, a 160-mile transmission line extending through the West Virginia panhandle and southeastern Ohio to high-demand energy markets.
