1 To place an order please contact CIL at: l l ( N.America) Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. POPs Pesticides and Priority Pollutant Standard Mixtures POPs Pesticides Dirty Dozen Mixtures Priority Pollutant Standard Mixtures HCH Standard Mixtures Toxaphene Standard Mixtures Cambridge Isotope Laboratories has long been the leader in development of isotopically labeled standards for use in trace and ultra-trace analysis of environmental pollutants. CIL continues this leading role by introducing the first ever comprehensive POPs Pesticides standard mixtures for use in Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry analysis. On May 17th, 2004, the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants entered into force with the objective to eliminate and/or restrict production and use of POPs of interest to the global community. The convention has defined 12 POPs of highest concern, called The Dirty Dozen. This list currently includes: Dioxins and Furans PCBs and Hexachlorobenzene Pesticides: Aldrin, Dieldrin, Endrin, Chlordane, Heptachlor, Mirex, DDT, and Toxaphene. While CIL has offered individual dioxin, furan, and PCB standards and standard mixtures for many years as well as individual pesticide standards, our new POPs Pesticides standard mixtures are designed to allow laboratories to use consistent, high quality, pre-formulated mixtures for analysis of these highest priority pollutants. CIL also offers extended Priority Pollutants standard mixtures, incorporating all the POPs Pesticides plus several other major pollutants of concern. For specific testing purposes, CIL also offers HCH-only, and Toxaphene-only standard mixes.
