7 2016 Program Highlights - 57 buildings recorded 3,357,771 kwh of electricity savings worth $537, buildings recorded 743,202 m3 in natural gas and steam savings worth $222,960-9 buildings achieved more than 10% electricity savings - 20 buildings achieved more than 10% gas or steam savings - Altogether, members reduced greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) by 1,767 tonnes, equivalent to taking 373 cars off the road!

10 Jim Baxter Director, Environment & Energy, City of Toronto Jim is the Director of the Environment and Energy Division at the City of Toronto responsible for combined environment and energy programs. In 2016 the Division created the City's 33-year plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Titled "TransformTO", the plan lays the framework to attain the City's goal of an 80% reduction in GHG emissions by Jim's focus is on managing the division environmental and energy challenges in a rapidly changing external environment while capitalizing on opportunities, to balance economic growth, attract private investment, and improve energy security and resiliency.
