13 SCMUA-WRWMG-NJDEP Ag Cost Share Program This program provides 319(h) funding opportunities for Sussex County s agricultural community to implement various conservation practices, projects, which are intended to address surface water quality impairments. These funds will be used as leverage with USDA-NRCS Farm Bill funds to implement projects within the following watershed basins: Papakating Creek Watershed Clove Brook / Clove Acres Lake Watershed Upper Paulins Kill Watershed

16 MANURE STOCKPILES: Manure Stacking Areas / Stockpiles have the potential to contribute excessive nutrients and pathogens as contaminated runoff or leachate into surface waterways and groundwater sources.
17 BARNYARD RUNOFF: Barnyards are places where livestock gather to eat, drink and eventually deposit manure. They can be a major source of where nutrients could leach or run off into the groundwater or surface waterways.
18 UNRESTRICTED LIVESTOCK ACCESS TO A SURFACE-WATERWAY: Unrestricted livestock access to streams is associated with many negative effects. Livestock defecating in streams may deposit harmful pathogens and excessive nutrients in streams. Degraded streambanks may result in increased nutrient and pathogen loading as well as elevated water temperatures.
