6 The foundation for smarter packaging BillerudKorsnäs ConFlex is made of 100 percent primary fibre from Nordic forests. With a perfect mix of short fibres from deciduous trees and long fibres from slow growing conifers, we manufacture strong and clean paper a perfect base for good packaging quality. Our mills have invested heavily in energy-saving technology and use biofuel from the forests as their main source of energy. Today, 97 percent of our energy need from the production is met with biofuels.
