26 LNG related training infrastructure The best way, to acquire knowledge and some skills, is to do it by yourself and to repeat the actions so many times until the procedure will be familiar Therefore some parts of the courses will be conducted with using simulators Currently on boardof the Centre are: LNG cargo handling simulator (both sides LNG carrier and terminal) where following scenarios can be provided: pipes connections and disconnections including emergency shut-down, controlling cargo operations, emergency response in case of cargo spill or fire etc. engine of vessels powered by LNG with preparing a fuel for engine, managing the fuel and storage systems etc. LNG vessels

27 Distance learning BSR LNG Centre will prepare training materials which can be used for a distance leaning These materials will consist of Recorded curses covering at least Maritime basic training Clips video, also in VR technology, presenting bunkering procedures, emergence response procedures etc. Every member institution will be able to use these materials on its own e-learning platform Depending on capability of such platforms a trainee assessment application can be implemented (computer based assessment)

28 Certification Every member institution of BSR LNG Centre can issue its own certificate which prove the participation in the appropriate LNG training the maritime trainings are designed with consideration of The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) requirements, and can be a base for a certificate issued by national maritime administration

29 The End Thank you for your attention
