10 Water Reservoir Replacement Project Project: Water Reservoir Replacement Total Funding: $330, ( $260K NZAid AM, $20k Sopac, IWRM $30k and $10 GoN) Objective: Safe Drinking Water Storage for the Communities and Reduce Water Loss. Outcome: (i) Replaced 4 leaking tanks with new ones by install 5 new water tank and 1 for new community area (ii) reduce water loss in water tanks Contractor- Tasman Tank Ltd of Australia, Supplier and Installation including PWD Water Sector Tank Type- Coated Galvanised Steel with a liner (Construct to NZ&A Standards, Cyclone rate and seismic load) Duration: Sept 11-May 2012.
