Hans-Jürgen Schrag takes over the responsibility for the family business as Managing Partner in 1994

8 Power Plant Industry Plants for thermal utilization of residues Thermal utilization of the residues in a power-heat-coupling process In this process, the residues are thermally utilized by incineration in a firing and boiler plant. Process summary: Thermal utilization of resulting paper materials and paper sludge by using an underfeed stoker and a downstream turbine Conditioning of the low-calorie residues Utilization of gas-turbine waste gases as combustion air for the simultaneous pre-drying of the residues Conversion of the energy from the high-pressure steam into electrical energy in a steam turbine Flue gas cleaning according to the legislation Waste incineration plant with DES combustion equipment for waste coming from a paper process MKG Giershagen, Germany 23 MW th Utilization of residues from combustion (slag) and the flue gas cleaning (gypsum) as reusable materials
