2 About Us Out of the TEMA Holding N.V., for the purpose of establishing a worldwide sales organization, which is responsible selling the products of the group, TEMA B.V. was established on the 12th March TEMA B.V. is responsible for the sales of those products which are manufactured within our group and also of some complementary products which are produced outside our group of companies. TEMA B.V. is responsible for the following countries and continents: The Netherlands, Belgium (Flanders), the biggest part of Asia, Middle East, Latin America. Separation that binds. TEMA B.V. is specialized in machines and systems for the processing of basic materials in the minerals-, chemicals-, food-, dairy- and pharmaceutical industry and offers machines & systems for separation of solids & liquids, for classification as well as crushing and pulverizing of several raw materials. 2 In the meantime TEMA B.V. has established a sound network of local agents and also opened an office in PR of CHINA (TEMA Beijing Representative Office) to provide optimal service to our customers.

4 Centrifuges CONTURBEX Centrifuge The most versatile of our centrifuges is the worm/screen centrifuge. Products such as crystals, granulates or fibres but especially salt crystals and fertilizers will be successfully separated. Pusher Centrifuge Pusher centrifuges in single-, double- or triple-step execution with cylindrical/conical screen basket are especially selected when low loss of solids, good washing or low moisture are required. CONTHICK Centrifuge The design of this centrifuge is based on the technology of our CONTURBEX worm/screen centrifuge with additional pre-thickening unit for high efficiency seperation of low solids concentration slurry as well as high recovery of solids. 4

5 Centrifuges DECANTER Centrifuge The solid bowl decanter centrifuge is used to separate fine crystals and fine powder from slurry. Also most of the industrial waste water streams can be thickened with the solid bowl decanter. For special performance also TWIN-CONE and TURBO-SCREEN decanters are available. VIBRATORY Centrifuge High throughputs up to 350 t/h of solids, mainly used in coal washeries and sea salt plants. TURBO CASCADE Centrifuge The Turbo Cascade Slide Centrifuge is used for de-watering of nylon granulates PE, PP and PS beads. Final moistures down to 0,01 % are being attained. 5

6 Centrifuges TWIN-CONE Decanter Centrifuge The same as with the decanter centrifuge, only with an additional larger cone to create more area for separation and to obtain higher g-forces for lower final moistures and a clear liquid separation. THE TUBE Decanter Centrifuge Combines the benefits of the solid bowl centrifuge and the worm/screen centrifuge, especially designed for high mass flow rates, for large clarification volumes (variable design), with large screen length (variable design), large open screen area, patented screen change from the outside, patented special wear protection, patented special overload device, and split gears up to Nm. SHORT-BOWL Decanter Centrifuge This Short-Bowl Decanter Centrifuge is from a similar centrifuge housing design as our Conturbex centrifuge, but with rotating parts as a solid bowl decanter with a short bowl, suitable to separate fine solids with a highspecific weight out of a slurry. 6

7 Dryer / Cooler TEMA / TEMA PROCESS Fluidized Bed Cooler The product fluidization in combination with the shaking movement gives optimum performance to final product quality. Mainly used in chemical, mineral, fertilizer and food industries. TEMA / TEMA PROCESS Fluidized Bed Dryer/Cooler As with the fluidized bed cooler, the dryer/ cooler gives a dry, free-flowing product. The fluidized bed dryer/cooler can be supplied with dust cyclones, bag filter units or wet scrubber. Centrifuge Pilot Installation All centrifuges can be tested on pilot scale in SIEBTECHNIK s centrifuge laboratory. Performance- and scale-up tests can be done in this laboratory. These centrifuges can also be sent-out in the field, if product requires this. 7

8 Screening Machines Screening Machine Type HG Both linear and circular motion screening machines with screening areas from 0,3-50 m 2 are used for applications like sand and gravel, minerals, fertilizers, salts, sugar, compost etc - both wet and dry screening. Screening Machine Type BHG Linear motion screening machine, both in single deck and in double deck execution, with screening areas from 0,3 up to 50 m2, with two to five sections with gradually flattening inclination, for applications like coal, ores, minerals, potash, limestone resp. sand and gravel both wet and dry screening. Elliptical Motion Screening Machine Combines the advantages of circular and linear motion screens, thus ensuring higher specific throughputs and less blinding, with double shaft drive with electronic control with infinitely variable angle of throw and vibration frequency, adjustable during operation. 8

9 Screening Machines Screening Machine Type MDS For high capacity in a small area, with accurate cuts even with smaller apertures, classifying of difficult materials, for applications with relatively high content of marginal particles and a critical moisture. TEMA / HEIN, LEHMANN LIWELL Screening Machine Non-blinding operation because of high accelaration up to 50 g. For all kinds of bulk materials and ideal for dry classification with up to 20 % moisture. SM Jig Are especially suitable to separate relatively light materials, like wood and other organic materials from gravel and other kinds of stone; also suitable to separate several minerals. These machines take care of a sufficient purity of the final product and can easily be introduced in existing installations. 9

10 Sample Taking / Size Reduction Sample Taking Automatic sample taking and preparation plants for mineral and chemical bulk products. The rotating hammer sampler costs less to install and to operate and is accepted by international standards. Depending on requirement various other primary sample takers, like spoon-, bucket-, chute- and many other sample takers are available. Sample Preparation A wide range of sample preparation machine is available, line turnstile dividers, rotary dividers, rotary pipe dividers and mass dividers, as well as sample collectors, sample transport systems, laboratory instruments and automatic moisture analyser system. Sample Pulverizing The laboratory disc mill is available in different sizes and grinding barrels in different materials of construction for fine pulverizing of mineral samples. Suitable for all analytical processes. 10

11 Sample Taking / Size Reduction Hammer and Hammer Impact Mills are suitable for crushing soft to medium hard materials (degree of hardness according to F. Mohs 2-5). For example: Agglomerates, coal, limestone, gypsum and slag. They are designed for large throughput volumes and trouble-free operation. Double and Single Roller Mills are suitable for crushing brittle materials of all hardnesses, such as rock, ores, coal, coke, etc. The material to be crushed is pulled by friction into the gap between two rollers rotating in opposite directions. The material is crushed by pressure and shearing action. This results in an uniform size of the discharge with few fines. ESM Eccentric Vibrating Mill Vibrating mills are suitable for size reduction of all brittle materials. The attainable ultimate fineness is app. 0-5 micron. Mills are suitable for mechanical-chemical activation processes. The new ESM vibrating mill has many advantages over the conventional vibrating mill like: higher throughput, reduction of energy, shorter milling time, both batch- and continuous operation 11
