2 Improving your business is our business Thermax offers products, systems and solutions in energy and environmental engineering to industrial and commercial establishments around the world. Its business expertise covers heating, cooling, waste heat recovery, captive power, water treatment and waste treatment, air pollution control, and performance chemicals. Thermax brings to customers extensive experience in industrial applications and expertise through technology partnerships and strategic alliances. Operating from its headquarters in Pune (Western India), Thermax has built an international sales and service network spread over South East Asia, Middle East, Africa, Russia, UK and the USA. Boiler & Heater Group (B&H) Thermax's Boiler & Heater Group provides equipment and complete solutions for generating steam for process and power needs through combustion of various solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, as well as through heat recovery from turbine/engine exhaust and (waste) heat recovery from industrial processes. The Group also offers heaters for various applications in the Chemical, Petrochemical & Refinery segments. Its services arm offers renovation and modernization solutions for old boilers and heaters. The major industry segments served by the Group in India and across the world are Steel, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, Cement, Sugar, Fertilizer, Paper, Chemical, Non-Ferrous Metal and Textile. Technology source and experience Powered by technology from the world leaders Gas based combined-cycle power plants (CCPP) are expected to account for a significant portion of new investment in electricity generating assets in both developed as well as developing economies across the world. Foreseeing this trend, Thermax has teamed up with the world's foremost name in steam generation technology, Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. (B&W PGG), USA, to offer heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) under a technology licence agreement. B&W PGG - interesting facts Established as a partnership between George Babcock and Stephen Wilcox in 1867 Incorporated as The Babcock & Wilcox Company in 1881; the same year the first power utility in North America went into service with boilers supplied by B&W PGG More than 100 HRSGs installed by B&W PGG and its licensees globally Product is supported under technical collaboration agreement with Babcock & Wilcox, USA

3 Thermax Babcock & Wilcox (TBW) In continuous existence since 1989; initially as a joint venture between B&W PGG and Thermax Limited ( ) and then as a division of Thermax Limited's Boiler & Heater Group with 'B&W PGG Licensee' status (since 2004) Installed more than 40 HRSGs, up to tons/hr capacity, 120 bar(g) and 567 C Installed more than 100 AFBC boilers up to tons/hr capacity, 108 bar(g) and 540 C Installed more than 15 CFBC boilers with units under execution as large as 500 tons/ hr 0 capacity, 142 bar(g) and 540 C Installed more than 175 oil & gas fired packaged boilers up to 275 tons/ hr capacity, bar(g) and 485 C Installed more than 15 oil & gas fired singledrum, site-erected boilers up to 180 tons/ hr 0 capacity, 134 bar(g) and 520 C Installed more than 150 travelling grate boilers up to 170 tons/hr capacity, 110 bar(g) and C Backed by full fledged manufacturing facility spread across 27 acres with dedicated shops for steam drums, panels, headers, pressure parts, harps, pressure part modules etc. at Chinchwad, near Pune, in Western India In order to cater to the growing demands of industry, we have set up a new manufacturing facility spread over 100 acres at Savli, near Vadodara, in Western India. The B&W PGG edge Key functional areas like engineering, manufacturing, quality control and project management at TBW were established with the direct involvement of B&W PGG TBW engineers have received advanced training at B&W PGG offices in USA TBW engineers use the same design standards and advanced computer programs as used by B&W PGG engineers HRSG designs produced by TBW are reviewed by B&W PGG
