Vertima's procedure: VERT , First Edition. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA) In collaboration with Ellio and Vertima, BoaFranc conducted a life cycle analysis of its product, Mirage Engineered, according to ISO methodology, with the exception of the LCA external validation phase, which does not allow for the publication of results. The purpose of this preliminary step for BoaFranc was to better understand and identify the primary environmental impacts of its product, Mirage Engineered, and to thereby calculate its carbon footprint. BoaFranc is currently taking action to develop its commitment to the environment and product transparency, and is available to answer any questions regarding the environmental impacts of the Mirage Engineered product. Validated EcoDeclaration Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Methodology: LCA conducted according to ISO and No third party audit has been conducted. and the integrity. 5 INGREDIENTS AND EMISSIONS DECLARATION OF CHEMICAL INGREDIENTS Type of declaration: Health Product Declaration (HPD) in progress with the version 1.0 Selfdeclared Third Party Validated EcoDeclaration Material ingredients Methodology: validation of the documentation providing the methodology and reporting of chemical ingredients. Vertima's procedure: VERT , First Edition. EMISSIONS TESTING Product category Emission test for Mirage Engineered Floors California Department of Public Health CDPH/EHLB/Standard Method Version 1.1, 2010 (Emission testing method for CA Specification 01350) Red Oak samples were selected and expected to give the worstcase results for the testing and evaluation of volatile organic chemical emissions form indoor sources using environmental chambers version 1.1. Mirage Engineered Floors made with variable components may be grouped together for testing purposes given that the worstcase samples were provided for testing. As specified in the standard method for the testing and evaluation of volatile organic chemical emissions form indoor sources using environmental chambers version 1.1. A range of product models, brands and/or styles with varying characteristics may be grouped together for testing purposes if the products can be expected to have virtually the same performance during testing and use. A test group shall only include models which are made using the same production methods and are comprised of the same product ingredients (formulation). The test sample shall be selected from the model in the group that can be expected to give the worst results for the test taking into consideration special attributes, materials, methods of manufacturing, suppliers, etc. and the integrity. Vertima follows a rigorous protocol, including an onsite audit of the factory, an audit of the manufacturer s supply chain Page 5
